I just got one a couple weeks ago in suburban MN! They’re in the app, but will only go through at locations that carry them. I always add one just to see if it will work and this time I got lucky. It was…adequate hahah.

Oh yeah The Secret History was a stinker, but I really loved The Goldfinch. It’s got that same epic sweeping feeling that I loved about Kavalier and Clay, if that’s a plus at all.

Oh I grew up in your hometown - he is so fucking disgusting.

Holy shit I was not expecting to think about Tapeheads this morning.

Yeah he’s leaning hard into the whole Thurston-Howell-III-but-he-could-totally-get-it thing and it’s going great.

It also depends on how close you are to further medical care - epinephrine works, but it only works for 20 minutes or so. (Source, my paramedic wife.)

My lab mix is 18 and yeah, my vet is like “Well it’s a 5 year vaccine, which is probably overkill. She’s fine, she’s had all the shots she needs.”

I could not FUCKING DEAL with him, and stopped listening entirely. Just what a turd.

Not really, no.

“We want a property that dates to the 1700s, but absolutely require an open floor plan.”

My wife’s a medic in CT - you’re right, every IV is ALS.

Some medications can cause this too, I literally just discovered. Since I’ve been an adult, my hair pulls really warm-toned (and is impossible to bleach to a pale color), and my hair lady just let me know that the synthetic thyroid hormone I take can cause this.

Re: Grindr - comedian, policy wonk, and Canadian politics enthusiast Guy Branum took over the Grinder Twitter last night.

I play roller derby and got married in October with my chubby, in-shape, body and scarred up shins (I scrimmaged the week before the wedding because I fucking love it!), and it was great. The big secret about weddings is this: basically no one cares as long as there is cake and a good time.

I was so bad at rice, and then I discovered the recipe for white rice in the New Best Recipe cookbook, from America’s Test Kitchen. I’d have to double-check the amounts, but I think it’s 1 c. rice to 1.5 c water, plus salt, and a little bit (scant tablespoon, maybe?) of butter or oil. Heat the pan on medium, add your
