Why not use the heat generated by the CPU to power a fan that cools the CPU? Even after the PC is turned off, the fan would continue to run until there is not enough heat to power the fan - without using an external power.

It seems to me that the reason for this phenomenon is that we are taught from an early age how to memorize and recall facts (mainly to pass tests in school). It seems that this training is also training away from actually looking at the problem without bias to quickly regurgitating an answer.

I don't think that is valid. Most of the apps on Cydia are not being sold by Apple as it is. You cannot buy an app like WiFi Analyzer in Apple's store.
