It’s not dirt cheap. If you want cheap, buy a house in the city outskirts rather than the suburbs - you can find houses for $50/sq.ft. That’s dirt cheap. I wouldn’t.

Sadly - I think the “chicken tax” killed any prospect of these appearing in the USA. I say that, because the “chicken tax” is what killed the air-cooled VW type II single and double cab trucks in the USA, and is why “mini trucks” in any capacity don’t exist in the USA any more.
