As a 2017 Civic Sport hatch owner... How different is the Type R to drive than my $13k cheaper car?

It’s filled with too many things that won’t last long (hybrid batteries) or will result in expensive repair (is there any car with more gadgets that could go wrong - some of them because they are unique to this car?).

That’s a Jeep.

“for the trails” you’d never drive a six figure one-of-one vehicle, either. You’d buy an old Jeep that you didn’t mind getting a scratch in the paint.

SUVs. Zero redeeming qualities, including lemming-ism. Horrible to share the road with, even worse to drive.

Styling aside - they shrunk the Camaro to be more of a Mustang competitor and less of a Challenger boat on wheels.

Clearly it needs to be priced above the Z4, and below the Lexus LC.

It’s true - the left front and rear right fenders are identical, interchangable on that generation.

On “holding up in the snow” - do you mean areas that actually truly get SNOW, like we have in Buffalo NY? Here, it’s not the snow but the salt that will rust a car, and rust it good. It’s one reason I lease rather than buy, and when I have a fun car, it’s off the road right until the salt residues are finally fully

Instagram isn’t “social media” in the sense you are concerned over. All you can share is pictures, and apparently (since you are asking how) you do want to share pictures.

The difference is - it’s their insurance taking the hit and not yours.

So in Trump’s ’Murica, ”I buy American” bumper stickers will now be seen on Chinese-built Fords.

Sounds like a problem in your specific town.

Your allegation is “fake news”, even as much as I have some of them.

Just as important-

Yes. Awesome. And the coverage of this ambitious repair was just as awesome. Huge thanks for the encouragement it gives.
