It also doesn't help that the passage of time isn't marked as well in Empire. The pacing makes it look like most of the movie takes place in about 3-4 weeks, instead of (most likely) a few months.

On an Apple TV I would say the Hulu app is wonderful and easy to use. The Netflix app has too many menus and sub-menus.
