Already signed up for the annual Z car owners convention in Colorado Springs in August.

I’m gonna go with questionable metallurgy for this particular failure, as when it failed, it was running Valvoline’s VR1 racing oil (it’s got ZDDP, it’s what plants crave!)

I’ve been down this road, and recently. On a fresh rebuild of a Nissan L28, I needed a longer duration cam, in order to bring down the dynamic compression ratio (and run it on pump gas). So, I bought an Isky 290°, .490" lift cam, and 12 new “ITM” lifters. I’d done everything right - had good wipe patterns, had the

5 cylinder Audis.

I’ve got two trips planned right now, but both are by car, first to the National Z-car Convention in Colorado Springs and then to the Williams Az Route 66 JDM festival.

Wait a minute, your roads actually get repaired?

Slime mold hits up all the best party spots because it’s such a fungi.

My yearly roof rack haul is just a Christmas tree, because I’m afraid of what more weight will do to the structure of the roof.

This probably isn’t a wagon though, it’s more of a 5-door.

Been there, glad you got it sorted.

Well, if I were contemplating a really expensive vehicle purchase, I’d be sure to factor in the 1% of the time it wouldn’t be suitable, that’s for sure. No alternatives, all the use cases or it’s completely, utterly worthless.

Yeah, but for every die-hard that’s towing his entire apartment across the continental divide, there’s about nine or ten others who might be moving a tool trailer to the job site and back to the yard afterwards.

*Current EVs aren’t as good at towing.

Alternately, keep the safety guards on the angle grinder, then don’t worry about the cutoff disk’s structural integrity.

So basically the same thing that happens to a gas truck when it tows things will happen to an electric one.

Mine are simple, and there’s a pattern, if you’re clever and can detect it.

He’s a shepherd. Herding is a part of his breed, and I’d challenge anyone without thumbs to try and herd without nipping.

The Infiniti dealership does this to my wife’s ‘06 M35x every time we take it for a recall (it’s had several).

I agree, but I also think that watching the world feed/whatever they’re calling the sky commentators’ view now is a more rewarding watch than being there in person.

Yes.
But only if I’m not driving.
