Probably because they think waiting for the door to open and then getting their overhead bags out is less efficient since they’d be blocking the egress while handling their bag.

Sounds like they should drop the price.

I think a little too much is being made about the racism angle. I don’t think that’s the main problem at all. It is the same problem Diana had: They are upstaging (unintentionally) Prince William and Kate and King Charles. It is a first and foremost a popularity problem, not a racism problem (although there may be

Disagree with the Thunderbird. That was a revolutionary design that lots of cars copied after. My Turbo Coupes were fantastic.

This was nice on my Porsche 914.

I’m with you for the most part, however I have worked on a number of newer vehicles where headlight replacement is not as simple as yours. However, I have also owned a Mustang and a Volvo XC90 that were as easy as yours is and that is a nice feature. I wish others would do the same. Our Acadia required removing screws

Still have a column shifter on my 2017 F-150... it is essential for me because I didn’t want to give up an extra seat for a console mounted shifter.

Insurance rates shouldn’t skyrocket if he’s not at fault.

When I was a kid, in about 1991 or so my aunt and uncle gifted us a 1983 Volvo 760GLE Turbo Diesel they owned since new. They had two sets of wheels, winter and summer, and the winter wheels had studded tires on it, being from Colorado. We lived in Alabama. First thing we did when we got home was destud the tires,

As a former SUV hater, I say what other vehicle can I get that will hold 8 people and tow a trailer other than my current Expedition?

Honestly, I kinda like it. What I don’t like however is the hideous Tesla-inspired touch screen in the dash. It’s cheap it’s not user friendly. Give me my tactile controls back.

Hmmm... not so sure about that. Is the V70 pricey (now) for suspension replacements? Sure. I’d imagine that a 240 in the same age range as the now V70 would be somewhat pricey as well. The V70 however is faster, more comfortable, and most everything else on the car is quite reliable. My inlaws got rid of a 2002 V70

I love the 240 wagons, but there is no way that car with that many miles is worth that much.

I think this is a travesty of design also. And, I think it has more to do with cost-saving than anything. Because lets face it... if you’re a company that is constantly stuck in “beta test” mode, it’s much easier to change a touch screen UI than it is to rearrange physical buttons and sliders on a dashboard.

Having a beta test for a feature like this strikes me as clearly irresponsible.

There are four things that immediately spring to mind with this car:
