Also programmer, using darkened editors for 10+ years, definitely healthier than staring at a bright white screen all day.

This. I started out on a monochrome green screen so it’s been a natural progression for me to keep the background dark.
Umm. Not blowing my eyeballs out when using my phone at night is by FAR the most valuable reason. And barely even mentioned here. It’s the most practical application by far, and absolutely legit. Must we shit on everything?
They could add some VR remote capabilities to the stylus that would come in handy if the Note 10 is VR friendly. Something like 3D spatial awareness for hand icon/3D cursor movement would be mildly interesting, in that you always have at least a minimal control scheme available with the base package.
Fixed: “The swollen region grew and hardened got crusty around the area on his arm where he’d injected his semen...”
Unless you do it while driving. Thats the plastic birdbox challenge.
At least this challenge does not endanger OTHER people.
She needs a 10 year ban on driving. Someone who purposefully blinds themselves while driving several tons of metal towards people should lose that privilege.
My point was that the everyone is freaking out over cannabis but alcohol is just as problematic but because it’s culturally acceptable people give it a pass. Watch the video. He barely touched the stuff.
That’s not what is at issue. Musk has a level of clearance for his governmental work (like satellite specs for example). One of the rules of maintaining that clearance not breaking the law. It’s less about the substance imbibed and more about the letter of the law.
...that’s a weird assumption. They’re a huge part of computer sales for a reason. They fill the need for day to day computing for most companies these days - large enough to run moderately specialized software without problems and not be left on airplanes and starbucks tables worldwide, and small enough to travel with…
Its your chance to be a vigilante and you’re going to pass that up?
I am an ICU nurse and ok, I’ve been using an Apple for over 30 years, so perhaps a cult member/fan girl, and even though there is no reason for me to even think of doing something so dumb, I could possibly see myself (in a moment of doofushness) want to jump on top of the pile. Just because.
It’s pro-social behaviour enforcing norms of our society - you don’t steal someone else’s stuff. Whether that ‘person’ is the world’s largest corporation or a 5 yr old kid, it’s not right to take what isn’t yours.
You’re not protecting Apple. Your are protecting society’s norms. When people so blatantly break the law, it breaks down society. Those who are invested in the society should protect it.
If they packed us in like sardines I wouldn't care if they sedated us first, I can be awake for 72 hours straight and get on a 10-hour flight and be unable to nod off for a second. It's a shitty super power
Would rather risk surviving in that than to deal with Bed Bugs ever again.
Technically, he called for the article to be shoved up Adam’s ass in his other reply. He’s an equal opportunity orifice stuffer.
The article’s clearly an after the fact narrative. In the moment, divers weren’t sure they could get the boys ready, and there wasn’t time to actually measure the feasibility of Musk’s sub concept before Musk started shipping the sub, so it makes sense that, even if they ultimately didn’t need it and even concluded it…
The submarine thing turned out to not be needed, but I don’t understand the tone of this article. You already had an article on this site about the minisub and how it wasn’t useful. What does this article add?
