I notice Mazda isn't on the list. We are approaching 10 years of CX-5 ownership and even servicing at the dealer is maybe $750 per year

From the top, early 90s pre face-lift XJs are the most desirable, this has the positive of being apparently unmodified but rust in a PNW car? Also in addition to AC, clutch,  headliner and rust the rear wiper motor is frozen.  For $7500 I expect everything to work, current tags and no rust.  This maybe a $5000

I have seen people riding the Deschutes River path on Bird bikes, I guess  anything goes

Dan Neil said it best with his article saying a minivan signals the man is a good provider

We had 2 children and a fleet of bicycles that we hauled around in a 95 Ford Escort hatchback with a roof rack, followed by a Saturn SL2.  We finally got a Mazda5 when our oldest graduated high school.  That was our biggest vehicle at the time.

I have run out snark due to the twice weekly Cybertruck fails. They get uglier every time I see one and the CyberCucks going "thank you sir, may I have another" has become boring. There are better  electric pickups and better $100,000 cars.

For $25k the AC should be fully operational nothing should leak, nothing should be misaligned and whatever stereo is in there should work ND

The Escalade and Avalanche should be single entry,  trucks that sacrifice utility for performance are of questionable value and where's the Dodge Little Red Wagon?

Finding some of the money was a big deal in the Portland papers a while back. I suppose the PNW answer is Bigfoot got him. The spare parachute could be the conclusive proof.

I guess this was logical progression from the separate crew positions and recoiling "gun" in the living room that all over Tumblr this summer

The GladOS GPS voice saying “in 300 yards turn left and drive off a cliff” is supposed to be joke.

Personally I question the utility of stand up scooters versus bicycles, although I see plenty of electric scooters in town, along with a plague of poorly ridden E-bikes.

This objectively funny.

ICE love being dicks because the constitutional rights are suspended within 100 mile oa border or an international airport.  Even US citizens get hassled and have trouble sueing

I was speaking in general not specifically,  although $4000 seems really expensive for carry guns. My S&W Shield was hundreds not thousands

I miss the public lands hate you Instagram.

This car was Motor COTY when it came out, firmly convincing anyone with a brain MT COTY was payola rather than merit.

If a gun gets stolen by a baggage handler or FedEx employee,  getting the ATF involved often results in a miraculous recovery of missing items. No one wants the Feds after them. This goes double with NFA items.

How else do you travel long distances to competitions or classes? There are perfectly good reasons to travel with guns and these people were doing it by the book.

The naked Gold Wing needs to be unscrambled back to a touring bike. Other than being heavy they are great bikes.
