The Fox body two door with a V8 was performance bargain. This one is obviously modified and most importantly driven by a seasoned racer, the Dodge Demon has an inexperienced driver. Reaction time and launch technique are critical and then the weight difference comes into play. The Mustang hooks up and takes the lead

You know, I'm OK with hacking up a Maybach, maybe they could destroy a Lamborghini Urus next time.

According to a story I recently read, a Nissan Cube

Cargo shorts are fine, it's the Oakley shades and 9 line t-shirts that are cringe.

I have seen 70 year old Budd RDC cars that are shinier than a Cybertruck.  Apparently the correct grade of steel and 1950s engineering work

I think Ford should have made a Country Squire with woodgrain and of course the Funk Master Flex package on the Flex instead of the Expedition.

I will thank my lucky stars that immediate family asks what I want, and my in laws just give Sportsman’s Warehouse gift cards.

Building replicas is good compromise. Some cars are unobtainable and others are, worth millions. Putting a replica body on a generic single seater.

That's an unfortunately valid observation,  human stupidity is abundant

I work in IT and preventing account compromises, takeovers and spoofing is a huge part of our work. People trying to divert direct deposits, tell secretaries to buy gift cards or just send waves of spam is an everyday occurrence. Fortunately we have services that catch a lot of that for us

If you want some angular stainless steel yard art you can probably get some 70s sculpture from an obscure artist for less mony

The Cybertruck fails so hard, and so often my snark tank is empty.

Wall Street guys are surprisingly dumb, and will believe the hype. A while back Derek Lowe’s science blog fscked a "stock market technical analysis" of a biotechnology firm where the Wall Street guy completely ignored the fact that their core product failed FDA trials.

Sadly it's probably going back on Bring a Trailer.  I  think it be great in a drag boat or a T Bucket where it's out in the open to be enjoyed.

A satellite phone would solve that in more compact form, although I suspect using a satellite phone as a hot spot for 2 days would be $$. Unfortunately there is no satellite phone that runs Dexcom

I find the electric train noises my neighbor’s hybrid cars make is sufficient. If it's not enough do the more natural thing and replicate an Amtrak AEM-7 electric locomotive.

I foolishly fell for a transmission shop’s pitch and let them try to fix our 95 Escort’s transaxle. They screwed up and had to eat two rebuilds, which still left us with a cursed transaxle that stumped a dealer until we did what we should have done and replaced it. The replacement transaxle never gave us trouble.

This seems like overkill, a Dexcom CGM and a cell phone can provide glucose data and the ability to virtually scream at him if he’s going low. I’m Type 1 and our daughter is also Type 1 so I've got some experience here.

Semi-Autopilot, Full Self Crashing, and a high population of owners that drive like jerks explains a lot. The tendency to burst into flames and difficulty of escaping a burning Tesla explains the rest.

I see the WTF as California having third party DMV services. Idiots not reading the URL is a day ending in Y.
