A significant point is that BEV adoption is a top down diktat driven by legislation sayng no gas cars by 2030 rather than a bottom upmovement by market demand. The early adopters,  greens and heavily subsidized buyers already have EVs and the rest of the market either doesn't have the money for a luxury EV or has a

He knows what he's got and so do we, crack pipe.

Back in 1973 or 74 at the IMSA race at Lime Rock my annoying little sister wandered off and discovered an enormous patch of poison ivy. I just mourned our local BMW dealer's 1600 racer breaking.

I saw A Flock of Seagulls on MTV back when MTV actually played music so Space Age Love Song still sticks in my mind.

Tesla still accepts Bitcoin, he'll offer a MT Gox wallet as restitution

A car on the I-205 bike path was an annual event in Portland for a while until they stuck bollards in the Vancouver entrance plus there was the recent incident with the 4x4 on the mountain bike trail.

I'm just imagining the awkward conversations at Toyota HQ.

On a serious note small lockboxes from Snapsafe and others are $30-50 and only take a minute to use. There are also things like Tuffy consoles and trunk boxes. While the lock picking lawyer can defeat these easily your average car prowler will shrug and move on.

It’s OK to confess some chopper love. The Victory has the saving grace of being from Arlen Ness and not reality TV.

I love Mazda rosaries and this is wicked cool bubble era Japan, but it’s not $38,000 worth of wicked cool. $25,000 with factory wheels would be ichi ban.

How about the Mohs Ostentatienne Opera Sedan

That was my immediate reaction too take your star

It looks a little like a Tripartite mine hunter but they are too new and about 30' shorter.  Navypedia.org might have helped but the, site is,down and doesn't cover logistics and auxiliaries.  Since Omnia is described as a former pilot vessel there's a good chance it was never a Navy ship and was either Coast Guard or

What was the original class and specifications? Aristotle Onassis’ yacht Christina O was a River Class frigate but bears no resemblance to the WWII escort it started out as.

As long as they do it away from the snow parks. My ski days already include enough Tesla wheel spin segments. I'd rather see another Fiat Panda like the one at the McKenzie Pass in March.

Shitty company acts shitty. I hope their stock tanks and the no class action clause is found unconscionable

IIRC Surfside had fire sprinklers

Grenfell Tower was concrete with panels and went up like a torch. UK house construction varies with region and era but even that Grade 2 listed 18th century stone cottage will be a burnt out shell if the fridge goes up in flames. That said our neighbor in the US had to completely rebuild a newly remodeled kitchen

ND, I don’t care how well done it's still a beige FJ60 and $50k max

British building codes are serious WTF. Every parking garage I've seen in the US has sprinklers.  British refrigerators have plastic near the coils instead of steel and one of these probably caused the Grenfell Tower fire which was exacerbated by poor construction.
