I like it but what modern classes can it run in? A better cage, new seat and new harness would be necessary sacrifices but Team Faded Glory (an actual 70s jeans brand) could be a go.

True, I work in IT so most of the people I know do data cabling. I do know some technicians who work for landscaping contractors so they are very much down in the dirt doing irrigation and lighting.
The everyone go to college craze is coming home to roost as the skilled trades got short changed.
Cohen sounds like the David Brooks of his generation. Having come of age in the 80s my up close memories involve A1 Volkswagens, Fox body Mustangs, 3rd gen F bodies, a deep hatred of Slant nose 911s and Countach posters. I don’t know what world celebrated stripper Celicas and early RX-7s when we had the 323 GTX, the…
This is pretty vague, are we talking a single vehicle like Franz Ferdinand’s last ride or a car model over a production run?
That is highly dependent on where you live and where you drive. I live in Central Oregon where snow tires or chains are mandatory in the mountain passes and snow parks so I switch to Blizzaks every fall. I have gone over the pass and up to the mountain on all seasons but the extra grip and not having to mess with…
I hope this idiocy hastens Faraday Future's journey into Chapter 7 bankruptcy and the mists of history.
Smooth is safe, he did just the right thing.
If it wasn't halfway across the country I'd send it to my son as an upgrade from his 2000 Corolla with eBay coil overs
I guess the first car I bought qualifies. It was a 78 Scirocco and looked good but I missed the terminal rot in the strut towers so I only owned for two years.
14hp is reasonable for a small tractor but the Porsche name makes it unreasonably expensive. I can get a recent 15hp Mitsubishi or Yanmar for $7-8k from Japan or any number of small tractors from the 50s for a few thousand.
A faded blue coverall.
On my old Saturn I had to replace the doughnut because the casing failed, and then the salvage yard doughnut also failed the same way so I gave up and started carrying a plug kit and a can of flat fix. I knew about the tread failures because I regularly check pressure in the spare as well as the rolling tires. A pet…
Stuff I don’t use, any “driver assistance” because I have base trim and switch blanks where the lane departure and parking nannies go. Satellite radio, too poor/cheap to activate, same with built-in navigation, the magic SD card was $400, using my phone was $5 for a vent mount.
I’m not sure but one of the common spotting points for a Sportsmobile or ASI Riviera is two tone paint because post chicken tax single color cargo vans weren't imported so they used passenger vans which always had a white roof in the US.
I’m in that 80%, we didn’t make enough to pay $750/month before groceries, fuel and insurance skyrocketed. Once we pay off our current modest loan on our modest car we’re taking a break from car loans.
Sorry make that rhe Lamborghini driver in the slammer
I'm glad the innocents in the camper are OK. Now let's see the tycoon in the Ferrari doing time. Recent deaths have left several vacancies in the Mafia prisons.
For $9‐10,000 it would be fun at car shows and I dig the green vinyl dash. For the asking price I can get a real Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
The BMW is a standard R90 /6 since it has Bing carbs and a standard tank, the ad has been pulled, make of that what you will.
