My forklift experience was more fortunate. The rental yard I worked at bought a couple of new Komatsu propane fork lifts right after I started. These replaced an older column shift Pettibone that was grubby but reliable. I did innovate by making a cab for a Komatsu out a giant plastic bag used to cover pallets of

This shows how much EV sales depend on government subsidies. The early adopter and EV enthusiast markets are saturated and a combination of declining buying power and loss of incentives has the regular folks. market either not buying or going conventional. You see the same in the US where sales of EVs that were

Brung back 14" wheels,

Needs more grating accent to be peak Joisey but this bridge and tunnel harpy should never be allowed across the Hudson again.

That’s why it was branded Montero or Shogun in a lot of markets. I guess Mitsubishi should have bought a better Japanese-Spanish dictionary

Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution,  although Pajero literally means bird.

“Burn Rate” stopped being a measure of success after after the first .com crash over 20 years ago.

Battery powered stuff has become better but cost for larger items like mowers and snow blowers is still a concern.  My gas mower has decades left. Then again my cordless string trimmer is getting worn out. My problem here is still cost versus life span.  A Makita LXT will match my power tools but $$ versus Ryobi

Our went to a state school, the loans were still almost $100,000. Fortunately he’s in a well paid field. He still decided not to buy a used Focus ST last year after looking at loan payments because he saw, student loans coming.  He will continue to practice bangernomics unless another Nissan Gloria rolls off the boat.

I like the system in my Mazda but I'm old and use it for radio and CD and never play music from my phone. I also don't use the factory navigation so the i-Drive knob is fine for my needs and the navigation screen is good for compass heading and altitude.

Mazda has a mute in the volume knob, at least on the 2016 CX-5 generation.  Oddly there's no radio off that I can find.

I predict the second coming of the Hummer loophole

I grew up thinking 2000 lbs was a normal car and 3000 lbs was a heavy car so I’m irritated that 4000 lbs is an average car these days. I tthinkthe world would be better place if the average North American car was the size and weight of an A2 Golf.

Perhaps we should push for lighter vehicles and reconsider the headlong rush to 6000lb vehicles since there are a lot of unintended consequences. In addition to increasing tire dust pollution and environmental destruction from rare earth and copper mining we now have to build more pparking garages, or tear down and

I am disappointed that Zeekr does not offer fur on the outside like those stunt motorcycles a few years ago. Fursona implies the presence of fur to me.

ND the money is better spent on a good Corniche since it's a better looking car on the same platform.

My immediate reaction to an Outback with more lift is “yo dawg we Outbacked your Outback", my second reaction is this is the ideal candidate for a fake roof tent. I live in Bend Oregon and Subarus are all over town,  often in Wilderness trim and often sporting CVT tents or elaborate racks but rarely showing evidence

I live in an area where winter tires or chains are mandatory on many roads. I just buy Blizzaks and enjoy solid traction on snow and ice during the season. I also watch fools slipping and sliding in the snow parks because they don't have winter tires.

Based on the driver of the one I encountered at the rifle range yesterday the Rivian is the electric douche bro truck of choice since this clown was throwing up a huge rooster tail of dust, tailgating and blasting past to be 5' ahead of us.

At a guess 2 50-100 KW,units powered by pretty much the same engine as an 18 wheeler.
