Whenever someone bitches about the loss of sports, remind them that the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of Republicans and people who refused to wear a mask. Tell them to take the anger at a lost season, find the nearest Republican or anti-masker and punch them in the throat.

This is what unregulated capitalism does. The end result is a monopoly in each market, or maybe a duopoly.

Even if you put aside that these were CHILDREN, the police had no reason to shoot at all. The children were running away from them (so no threat), and all they’d observed was a possible traffic violation. There’s nothing to indicate the car’s occupants had done anything life threatening to anyone.

There are always people who enjoy watching assholes because it makes them feel vicariously powerful. He’s their id. He gets to be the loudmouthed fuckbags they wish they could be, if only they had the power and the platform to do the same.
