Every day, friend.

Remember when Barack was President and we didn’t have to worry about who anyone was fucking and what porn they were watching?

Just more proof that Trump isnt the amazing business leaderso many people give him credit for. Ive said for a long time that starting with a bunch of money and dealing in Real Estate speculation doesnt make you a business virtuoso it usually just means you have good timing (or often not, based on all the

You are absolutely right. If a site like Lifehacker wants to take credit for sharing “life hacks” as well as maintain some credibility it would be nice if they did a little bit more due diligence than the readers normally would. Your request is reasonable and makes sense.

I didn’t actually criticize them. I said that my enthusiasm was dampened. A site that recommends things made what I perceive to be a bad recommendation, and therefore I now trust their recommendations a little less. That’s simple cause and effect, and it certainly doesn’t affect you at all.

Perhaps no, but this still dampens my enthusiasm for their recommendations.

The obvious question, of course, is why didn’t Lifehacker catch this as part of their vetting of the app?

Please...Just call an ad...An ad. This is a fucking ad. It has nothing to do with Lifehacker, it isn’t “gear”, it isn’t a deal and you personally have never tried it. *And* you get a kick back if any sell via this page. Literally the fucking definition of an ad.

It doesn’t say brushing is useless. It says toothpaste is useless. Big difference.

In your original quote, you said brushing doesn’t prevent decay, then switched to toothpaste and Dr Burhenne talks about the fluoride content of toothpaste. I’m not sure what your point is. Brushing clearly prevents decay. The abrasives in toothpaste do as well.

No way am I buying that. It may be anecdotal, but I got a fair amount of cavities as a kid when my brushing habits/technique were bad and none the last couple of decades when I now brush every day with decent technique. Same with my own kids now. My oldest already has a couple of cavities and I’d blame it largely

There’s a difference between your statement and the quote.

That’s quite the sourceless breezy dismissal from the Freakonomics blog. Somebody recalls one dentist saying a thing so it must be true :)

My ortho said to avoid whitening toothpaste, since it works by scrubbing away enamel much faster than the body naturally replenishes it. Unfortunately, it’s gotten hard to find a non-whitening formula in a lot of stores.

They also said the same thing about floss. Might as well get false teeth.

Why must everyone criticize Donald Trump?! It’s so unfair.

Also, dismissing experts in the field and instead going with non-experts who validate your personal beliefs.

Well it’s a shame it took her whole family getting sick but it’s refreshing to hear an anti-vaxxer say “I was wrong, I was batshit, I’ve since researched and have changed my mind”.

Not a chance for me; I’m okay with Clinton, she’s infinitely preferable to Trump, and I realize that neither Stein nor Johnson have a chance of winning (and I don’t know enough about Johnson to know if I find him preferable to Clinton). However, I do the the sense that some of Sanders’ supporters are refusing to vote
