There is a lot of drama to be had with a character that brings upon his own destruction.

The Flu does have it's perks. It gave me time to sit my ass down and watch this series I have heard so much and sweet jesus, what a ride. While it's thematic underpinning at times (usually) lacked subtly, this show had most of the ingredients to keep me wanting more. Two great leads performing two great characters

I agree. While I enjoyed the ride it took me on, the allegory is obvious from the get go. You can't really become more allegorical than the poor, tail end of the train tries to take over the rich, head section of the train. It's not subtle, but I didn't feel it needed to be with it's well executed genre tropes,
