Loved, loved, loved that Avett Brothers song! I have to assume Megan already knows itbut I’ll share with her anyway. So how would you describe “Texas country” as opposed to other genres of country? BTW we call country “Americana” or “country & western” in the UK. Americana is usually reserved for more traditional

Scotts Turf Builder, that’s hilarious, but yeah, comes from the same place assumptions about Texas or anywhere else do, how funny. I do recall speaking with Megan about Austin City Limits too now that you mention it. Her and her husband are going to Red Rocks in Colorado this summer to see a band called the Avett

Ha! Love it. My one claim to true rock-star status, David Yow did a stage dive and kicked me in the head, they were opening for Rage Against The Machine. I got to go to school and tell everyone the story, the bruise lasted about a week and was totally in the shape of his boot.

To my knowledge technically not Britpop but they were out at the same time. If you know your Britpop I’m hoping this band rings a bell to you. :)

Thanks, mate. Once again a song I didn’t know I knew.

The Isle of Man sits in between Ireland and England and is closest to England’s Lake District, I can imagine the scenery was spectacular. Once you get into Scotland it starts to brown out a bit since it’s colder up there, England seems to be just the perfect spot on the globe to stay cold but not too cold as to kill

I agree, driving through the urban sprawl is not pleasant. Most cities in England are so small you drive through them in about 3 minutes, here they come and there they go and you’re back to open land again. There’s about 65 million people there and about 40 million live in the southeast corner of the island - London,

Must have been a Seattle fan. Someone else called it a “hilarious” scandal and as far as scandals go, this has been quite amusing, especially the haters. I have to imagine somewhere deep down inside himself Hoodie is chuckling a little bit as well.

And for our good friends on the New England Patriots....

I kinda figured it had to be good if you made an account just for this so I took your word for it, and I think you had the right idea. Good post, mate.

Lovelovelove Bronson. He’s actually in line to take over my favourite rap from NYC if he keeps it up, but for now it’s still these guys...

I think it’s easy getting around the UK because everything is such a short distance and it is literally a town and then nothing until you hit the next town. No suburbs or urban fringe, really. When the city stops, it just stops and it’s just open land until you happen upon the next town, so you can bounce from city to

So this is Roger Creager. When you first mentioned it I thought it was some kind of mixed drink/cocktail only you Texans would know about. ;) Damn northerners....

That looks fascinating. I only follow football and football but I love history and documentaries so this is straight up my alley.

Oh, okay, that’s a lot bigger than I thought it was. And it’s probably a bit of a party town if there’s uni students there every year so it can’t get too boring. A big part of the reason I left Cleveland was to get better access to music, so many bands if they play Ohio at all they go to Columbus and that REALLY

Hahaha!! That is fantastic! I want to be that chap in the boat. We can do that around here, but on snow. And of course none of this would occur in London, we get no snow and flat land doesn’t exist there.

I’m glad there’s still someone (emphasis on the one) who percieves me to be young! :)

I remember watching the release of the “Thriller” video on MTV. It was the biggest day of my life, lol! I was (maybe) 8??

Yes, you’re right, we were having the windmill discussion and that was the stadium. So Lubbock is your town? And you’re from there or just living there now? And you actually have a skyline, well I’ll be! (a smartass). ;) We Northerners only know Dallas and Houston, everything else is like the Wild West, so that’s cool
