Thanks, mate. :) They are very tongue-in-cheek.

I'm going with this chap as far as my DC rappers go. :)
+1 Saw these blokes about 3 times in Cleveland. Still like the first album a little better, but not by much. Good post.
Why didn't we clone her? It's not like we don't have the technology....
When I do finally marry my first ex-husband, this will be our wedding song. Rammstein "Hierate Mich"
Oh my. These were both fantastic. Had to listen to them twice.
Please do, that will be fun! I'm hoping (if you heard it yet) St. Vincent self-titled ends up on that list as well.
LOL! That's like giving a prize to the team that lost the game, too. But I can appreciate the sentiment. :)
Dizzee Rascal, one of the UK's most prolific rappers, been around over a decade now, helped popularise "grime". This is what I believe to be his biggest hit.
This is debateably good. I'm not thrilled with it, but I could feel it growing on me. About 6 more listens and you'll deserve that star I just gave you. ;)
That's hilarious! That's the second time this week you've posted stuff I didn't know I knew. I think you've invaded my subconscious so I apologise for all the crazy thoughts. ;) Yes, I do know this song as well, but again, would have never attributed it to this group, and no clue Vince Gill was involved. Good work…
"Modern Vampires" is probably one of my favourite albums of all time. Good post, mate. :)
Yes! On several levels. 1. I saw Joss Stone, she was the half-time performer at the Dallas-Jacksonville game at Wembley earlier this year. There's something very "Janis" about her, but I can't find the words to describe it, though with people like you, I assume I won't have to, if I just say "something Janis", you'll…
This is a cover, no? I know this song but don't recognise it from this band ???
Too bad I can't make this a +5.
Correct. She died of a brain tumour about a year before her version of "Somewhere" blew up in England and made her a superstar. That was the tragic part, she deserved to be that revered in life. But like every other great artist, we keep the music forever. :)
I'm hoping you already know this girl. If not, get a jumper, her voice will give you chills. :)
Thanks, mate. And I love Annie. Good selection. ;)
Okay, so I'll stick with the sad song theme. This is Concrete Blonde "Walking in London". I had to move back to the US from London a couple weeks ago and I'm already tired of it and I want to go home. So there's that. :(
I'm rolling through all their tracks on You Tube now, I know this band a lot better than I thought I did. The only track I've found so far that I don't know is "Midnight Rendezvous". Geezus, what an epiphany. I owe you one, mate. :)
