Agreed! Every microwave I’ve ever owned until now had that intermittent beeping, and it came across as annoying. Soothe yourself, most microwaves!

I nominate my Emerson microwave purchased at Target. It heats AND defrosts, and only beeps once the food is done — no subsequent beeps! It’s chill AF and knows more about foreign policy than Papaya Pol Pot.
