There were more than a dozen pieces of "original content" posted on the site today, not including Newswire posts. Sometimes we just like to have fun in between all that critical heavy lifting, ya know?

Nightcrawler, over at the local Chicago site, we tracked down the "McMorningWood," a similar, equally disgusting concept: http://www.avclub.com/chica…

Interestingly, I've foisted this album on roughly a dozen people, and played it at a party, and pretty much everyone liked it quite a bit. I think H&O are pretty universal—especially these songs—and the covers are so agreeable, I can't really imagine anyone being turned off by them. Or maybe I just surround myself

Sorry guys, I haven't had a chance to watch the reunion yet, but based on what I've read here, I'm giving it a C-. Discuss!

I've always just heard it as something could happen "faster than a virgin on prom night," though I guess grammatically it really doesn't make sense. Oh well, chalk it up to me channelling the Jersey Shore cast's grasp of metaphor.

Exactly. Didn't you see The Girl Next Door?

Those are probably the stampeding elephants that live in the office above us.

*spoiler, should you care*

At the risk of restirring the shit storm, I'm going to address just one quick thing about this piece, because I think it's where most of our problem is stemming from. To everyone who found this condescending, that is honestly, truly, 100 percent not what I was going for, and if it came off that way, I am sorry. I

I was initially annoyed by the crossfader too… why can't it snap more solidly back to that center precision? But as I played more and got better, I developed a sort of muscle memory to return it back to center without overshooting, and I felt an actual sense of accomplishment. (It takes so little.) I think the point

Well Sinead O'Rebellion… shock me shock me shock me with that deviant behavior.

I love "Dog Days." I could tell 30 seconds into it that I was going to love the whole album based on it. "Howl" is probably my favorite track on the album, and I didn't mention that one either. The best/my favorite tracks aren't always the most illustrative of the points I was looking to make in the review; but just

Because we like it. Seriously.

It's actually just so I can figure out where I am after passing out after an afternoon of Tru Blood Margaritas.

It was released digitally months ago, but the physical release was today. Welcome to the new paradigm.

I agree that Evan brought a nice humor to it. But it wasn't even remotely sexy (and that's just as much due to Randi as him). I think Jeanine and Ade could have brought the humor to it too, and it wouldn't have felt like a couple of kids playing dress up. But, to each their own!

Well played, Murse. :)

Oh don't get me wrong, I teared up quite a bit too. It was more the constant bashing us over the head with how IMPORTANT it was to have a routine like this on the show. It felt a teensy bit self-congratulatory. But the dance itself was a highlight of the night for me.

Oh good, I was hoping for the chance to bring this up in the comments. SPOILERS AHEAD.
