Mississippi needs to change whatever their state motto is to: Always on the wrong side of history.

Sure it is, you’re allowed to say whatever you want, but people are going to share their differing and layered views right back at you. Take a lap, rub some dirt in it, and either refine or defend your position. Don’t martyr out now, you just got started.

That’s why I prefer Arizona over Georgia. It’s the dry hate.

T Pain is doing the lords work exposing hypocrisy and Mario Lopez is a fucking monster

They’ve only been married 4 years? They’re acting like it’s been 20. Also, I feel like this is Camille Grammer 2.0 where it’s so obvious the husband is done with his wife but she refuses to see it :(

Don’t be ridiculous! He was never actually accused of actual rape – it’s just that a committee found that he “had unconsented-to sex.” You can’t just go around slandering unconsented-to sex-havers and calling them rapists, for crying out loud! #NotAllUnconsentedtoSexHavers

The whole, like, being unclothed or being in bed or doing other stuff explanation is the most ridiculous to me. When I was in college, I didn’t have sex until my senior year. The other three years I had many satisfying encounters in beds, unclothed and partially-clothed, and doing lots of other stuff. I just didn’t

I don’t find it unfeasible that she would return to bed with him.

“So your client is in fact being punished for the crimes as a surrogate for somebody of a higher class who employed him in their service?”

Rachel Maddow had nice things to say about him. She said that he’s one of the few GOP reps that actually answers her questions. The quality of the answers may be questionable but he doesn’t shut her out like most of the others. That’s something.

I read the piece (it was as bad as everyone says), and the way he uses the word “convicted” bothered me there and it bothers me in his apology. The whole time, it felt like he was trying to put the whole responsibility for Holtzclaw’s conviction on the courts rather than on Holtzclaw’s actions. Just call him a rapist.

That’s the general idea (with a colonel of truth). But I’m not sure I would put major effort into it.

I love Kathryn Hahn

This is where that Albright quote applies, if you ask me. A woman like Taylor, who is making quite a point lately of speaking up about both feminism and her industry, should see an intersection here. And should really want to say “let me use my admittedly powerful voice to get this some attention” - to support another

Unpopular opinion but I think it’s valid complaint. A lot of these “girl power” artists use it only to further themselves and their own careers but remain silent during the trials of others.

I’m a good person with a lovely family, Ashley. So . . . maybe once. yolo.

Wait, once every three months? Nope.

i wouldn’t

AND she’s genuinely nice. Like, that’s her real personality, that we see on TV. Warm, gentle, welcoming. I’ll bet she gives the best hugs.

They are treated as well as the white kids. No, they really are. If you’re offended by a Halloween costume or random graffitti, do not come. Those things are not being orchestrated by the administration and absolutely nothing can be done about them.
