I get that, but does that mean Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maserati(who sold less vehicles in the past year than Tesla) aren't luxury car makers because they don't sell as many cars as Merc, Bimmer and Audi? They're ramping up Model S production and starting Model X production to accomodate demand. The reason people see

Hasn't worked out too bad for them so far though... and the Model X is coming in early 2015(I much prefer wagons to SUV's but I kind of like this one).

Superchargers are a pretty good answer if we look at the facts: 40-45 minutes to charge a Model S, FREE and placed right beside roadside amenities so you grab a bite to eat and your car is charged. Soon battery swapping will be implemented but that will cost about the same as a tank of gas, which leads me to think

That looks... surprisingly good. The mirrors need to go(always hated that design) but the rest is quite great.

Same here, though I'm not worried for Tesla, not too long from now it'll probably be back around 250 and actually be worth 250(sometime towards the end of this year-early 2015 when concrete sales numbers from China come out and the Model X is being delivered), at which point it will skyrocket when the first battery

The want is strong with this one.

I just realized even Mercedes-Benz USA follows Bored Elon Musk.

I see, thanks. Another option is gas port at the back on one side and charge port on the other side but also at the back.

He hardly mentioned Tesla, didn't mention Elon and didn't say you could go everywhere with SuperChargers. He simply stated that Tesla is the only manufacturer who has actually put considerable time & effort in a charging network, and one that isn't completely useless and slow. All of this is true. And hey, when gas

This screen is quite big it seems, second to Tesla in size I would say. Good move on their part.

That is true, the cathode is NCA, but even there it is limited amounts. The Prius itself is definitely not as environmentally friendly as many think it is, all it does is save the owner a few bucks on gas and look horrible. The main upside with a car like a Tesla (meaning a Tesla) is the fact that the batteries are

Not all EV's or hybrid's batteries have Nickel. The Model S' batteries have no nickel and Lithium mining is not great for the environment but it isn't as bad as nickel mining. Panasonic's 18650 Li-ion cells (which Tesla uses) contain a very small percentage of actual Lithium, 1-2% is what I remember hearing from
