There's a difference between magic/mysticism and sci-fi. Game of Thrones has dragons and magic shadow demons, but personally I'd be done watching if ET landed in the fields of Westeros.

Eh, I've died a couple of times, but nothing excessive. I haven't died any more in this game than in most games I play.

Yeah, but you're talking to someone who read the first 70 issues of The Walking Dead over a weekend. It is an emotionally intense game, but I don't think that's the issue. If anything, that usually makes me more compelled to dive into a game.

I don't think that's it. I played the Walking Dead no problem, and horror games in general don't bother me any. I'm not really sure what it is, I just don't have the desire to keep playing it.

This game is really strange and kind of frustrating to me. By any objective measure it's a fantastic game. The story is compelling, the characters are well fleshed-out, the animation is stellar, the voice acting is top-notch....

Many Hollywood types would say they needed Depp because they need a big star to open the movie (and there are no big stars who are Native American). But they cast Armie Hammer to play the Lone Ranger and he's not a star at all. So, they could have made the dude playing a white guy a "big star" and give the Tonto role…
