Some people are willing to pay the higher price for a used copy of game at Gamestop because they do not have a decent computer that can play newer games so they have no choice.
What about installation? Giving you the opportunity to switch games at your whim without switching bluray discs? Mayhap giving you digital access to your games on your profiles on other peoples consoles?

When games are 20$ on steam they are still 50$ at gamestop.

So MS has given us just enough to freak everybody the fuck out and make them panic, and not enough to either calm our fears or let us come to grips with whatever changes they're making.

I never said they should disclose everything. But do you honestly think, after witnessing the shit fit online—which they've already stated surprised the hell out of them—that they wouldn't make a statement to clarify and calm things down if they actually could?

We would know everything if it was good news. MS wouldn't be able to calm our fears quick enough. As it is they say nothing, which indicates they have nothing good to say.

According to MS we're buying a software license. And that's okay if I'm paying a fair price for that license in comparison to a product I completely own. But so far there's no indication that's the case, and the longer MS goes without dispelling that fear the more public opinion is going to turn against them.
If they had good news to give us they'd be giving it to us. The fact that they're not saying anything does not bode well.
