I couldn't really get over that some of the best games they showed were multiplatform already - even Titanfall. They also did something to allow them to show Dark Souls 2 but prevent Sony from doing the same which was annoying as hell. I want DS2 to get all the exposure it wants.

I'm pretty sure that's because its an off-screen recording of the live show.

Use the 100$ you save buy buying the PS4 over the Xbone, use it on PS+ (and whatever else), and there you go.

Agreed. This isn't GOOD, but the rest more than makes up for it. The same can't be said for the Xbone where nothing could justify the policies.

So Sony gets a Gold-esque thing, but with a better track record of free stuff and is not required for singleplayer games. The difference is I can take this one hit since PS4 hit it out of the park with the rest, while nothing would make the Xbone policies worth it.

Shiny.

Yeah its weird that Microsoft would partner with Sony to bring PS+ to the Xbox at a conference when they are competitors!

The guy on stage even said Xbox exclusive which is just flat out wrong. Lamesauce.

I mean that although the game is multiplatform, the rumor is it would only appear during Microsoft's show and not Sony's.

I'm hoping the rumors aren't true, and that we will see DS2 at the Sony conference as well.

This. They conveniently left that portion out. Its not free2play if Gold is required.

Your definition of "off" seems to differ from my own. If the thing can listen for "Xbox on" then IT ISNT OFF. Disabling the option to turn on when it hears that phrase doesn't sound like off either - it sounds like it just won't turn on when it hears that.

I've seen industry and journalism folk get quick access, you should probably try to contact an admin and explain yourself.

I post on GAF and enjoy it quite a bit, and I think Stephen is lying when he says he only posts there from time to time. Stephen and Jason post there all the time (mostly to respond to feedback about Kotaku but still).

I think this crew has consistently proven they are class acts - especially Austin Wintory.

I played Simon Says with a homeless guy while flying in the air yesterday so I dknow what you are talking about.

Here's a video of it destroying one of the others for reference.

That would be piracy in this case.

Something that bugs me more about stuff like this and when the Notch fiasco happened in the recent past is that these are generally likeable people, and they are one of the few gaming "personalities" that I can stomach. Their charity stuff has been pretty successful.

That is a really big light for what seems to be a small room.
