Hmmm looking at some of these...just how do you design a look that makes someone think "game console" at a first glance when no controller is present and not "air purifier, coffee maker, or DvD player"?
Non-verbal communication to verbal communication as a ratio when communicating is something like 80-20. It can be overdone sure, but that's just how humans work. Speaking without moving is weird, like talking to a Bethesda NPC.

I second this. I enjoyed Diablo 3 a great deal, but I am having an absolute blast with PoE so far and its only open beta.
