Agreed there. Sonic music has always been sort of a guilty pleasure. Check out some of these mashups this guy did with the Generations music versus the originals. Some of them turned out pretty good.

5 minutes of Silent Hill: Downpour without someone talking over it for once.

A great story, excellent characters, and an imaginative setting. I think it is easy to get someone hooked on mechanics, but it is harder to give them a memorable experience.

If having a sense of humor equals the equivalent of laughing while someone works your kidneys with brass knuckles then I will stick to popsicle stick jokes.

I feel the need to rant about how completely stupid the characters and dialogue are in Resident Evil: Revelations. I can not understand how ANYONE can think that garbage would be fit for anything. What the hell!?

I can't answer that question with certainty. I recall seeing Murphy look at important objects, but I doubt he would turn his head at every interactable object and usable item. I imagine if you cannot locate something important, you could simply quickly toggle the sheen on and then back off.

If you complained about this, you also probably complained about button prompts and item sheen in Silent Hill: Downpour.

It is a remake of a mod for Half Life 2 that came out some time ago. It was made as an experiment in interactive storytelling. To be completely honest "all you do is walk around" is putting it very simply but is also true (for the original at least).
