@the good doctor: what do you do if any of these things fail inspection? Do you change hotels because something smells funny? Please elaborate on your entire process. Are you travelling alone or do your spouse and children stand patiently waiting throughout all of this?

I usually put the sandwich between two plates with the top one inverted and pile something on top for weight (whatever else is in the fridge) because a bit of compression give the final sando more cohesiveness.

I need help with the opposite situation. I moved far away and I’m SO over travelling back to visit. comfortsI would like to get THEM to come to ME so I don’t have to leave the comforts of home. I’d rather spend my vacations going someplace actually interesting and enjoyable.

If by “torture” you mean “drown out the sounds of potentially loud bodily functions, which may be in unfortunate proximity to others, in order to prevent possible embarrassment or social anxiety, the threat of which could be enough to prevent or delay such functions from occurring, thus creating even greater

As someone who’s done a lot of laundry in many types of machines, my tips are that a soak in dishwasher detergent can help renew old, yellowed white fabrics. I probably wouldn’t try adding it to my own clothes washing machine.

In most newer construction, there isn’t even a floor in the attic, it’s just a pile of loose, blown-in insulation over the joists.

I just opened a bottle of terrible, overly sweet rosé. And I have two bottles of it, so the timing of this article is perfect.

There are pickpockets and there are bag snatchers and this article seems to address only the former and not the latter.

I watched “Hack My Home” and thought, these people have a bunch of solutions in search of problems, and they are going to use them whether or not they are necessary or even helpful or practical - just because they can!

I have a couple of 4-inch square stone countertop samples leftover from our home build. They are great as cooking weights in the kitchen because they are heat safe and compact. I’ve found a surprising number of uses for them!

At least it is possible (though not easy) to take things in to make them smaller.  Today's clothing generally has no seam allowance to let it out to make it any larger.  So even tailoring something is extremely challenging if it needs to be let out anywhere!

Forget trying to figure out your size if it comes in XS-XL. For some companies, XS=4, XL=12. If I wear a 10 or maybe 12 normally, then I would need a L or maybe XL.

Do you have a recipe to make the filling of the famous pb cups we all know and love?

Didn’t the original breakfast crunchwrap from, like, five years ago, have a tostada in it?  That thing was enormous!  I still mourn the loss of the original breakfast salsa.

Good luck finding that turkey sandwich on wheat. IME, the sandwiches are exclusively on white bread. YMMV. I would love to see more 100% whole grain bread sandwiches available!

While the potato in the video did, technically, get put into the oven a second time, it was a quick broil to melt the cheese and not a second bake.

“Scrape out the skins”

I will eat green eggs and ham!

I have found that chicken on the bone seems to take a LONG time to get fully cooked through on our green egg at 225. I aim for slightly higher when doing all dark meat (usually separated into thighs and drums), around 250.

Some of us still send out snail mail cards at the holidays. Buying now instead of in December would save a couple of bucks. It’s only a few months early and would be one less thing to have to do during a busy time of year.
