Now, it would be great if someone could explain to me the “service charge” of the up to 25% of my order value that is added - on top of the increased per-item prices and the delivery fee. Isn’t the delivery fee the charge for the service they are providing? If they are adding $20 extra then the real delivery fee is

Knife storage:

I the US, the consumer banking system is rather antiquated. Paper deposit slips are still used in-branch. Debit cards don’t use the interac platform, they have to carry a Visa or MC logo because they are processed like credit cards. Lines of credit are for businesses only, or for personal use, they have to be secured,

And here I thought you just weren’t ready to accept that summer is over. Summer will return next year. Childhood, on the other hand...

Hey Sassy, where are you watching it? And I don’t mean which room or your address...

Let’s say one hasn’t seen Cowboy Bebop. Can anyone, perhaps the author, tell us readers where it is to be found? Netflix? Hulu? Do I have to search for it?

10.  Commenting in futility because you're still in the grays

Thank you for QUILTBAG. It makes sense and a word! I would love for this to be widely used. I never figured out what the letters after T or Q stand for and more letters keep getting added. I never knew whom to ask. I fully support every one of them, I just can’t keep up anymore, so this is really a great help.

I disagree with toecutter about croissants lasting for a while before staling, unless that while is measured in hours.

This may or may not be true (I haven’t checked) but the chickpeas on their own are essentially devoid of fat and sugar, while ice cream is loaded with both.

The thing that works best for me to get rid of any and all funky odours from laundry is BORAX. Just add 1/3 cup or so of the powder to the clothes after they are loaded and wash as usual. Sweat, mustiness, the funk of wet towels that the kids left in a heap in the corner for a week or two - gone! Just fresh, clean

To me, that looks a lot more like a vulva than a butt.

How can I get in on the pallet or container of TP action? After the great TP crisis of 2020, I’m feeling the need to stock up. I can just park in the driveway while the garage is holding pallets of TP.

What about people who get cranky and short-tempered when stressed? Any suggestions on how to defuse them when they are ready to explode into anger at the slightest thing because of other stressors that I have nothing to do with?

I have blown through a lot of sprayers that way.  I get the industrial chemical-resistant sprayers now.  Home depot sometimes has them and you can get them online.

I imagine LH’s core target is millenials ans some gen Z but there are some of us gen Xers here. Among my cohort, botox is de rigeur. We are the first generation where divorce became commonplace and there are more older singles now who want to feel attractive. May of us also lead active lifestyles and aren’t aging the

Which Malcolm Gladwell book? There’s a half dozen or so. I wasn’t impressed with Outliers but he did have enough interesting hot takes that I would give a different book a chance.

This is a well-inspired article that’s a bit light on content. There’s two tips: pot a mirror behind your plants and fill a bowl with water. Working with what’s in season doesn’t really count, since I live in my house in all seasons. I’d love to hear more about the “strategic placement” used by the botanical gardens.

My store only has the orange ones. Will they turn out the same way?

In Australia, the sales tax is included in the price and it makes shopping so much easier. In the EU, they stopped using pennies a long time ago and Canada recently got rid of the penny too.  Prices are rounded to the nearest nickel. It would make for lighter pockets if it weren’t for all those $1 and $2 coins. Then
