Credit due to you! I said the same thing about an hour ago without realizing you had said it first. I couldn’t agree more.

All that detail... ruined by cheap GM “Corvette” plastic engine covers. Come on. How much does this truck cost, $150k? $175k? Yah, lets keep the plastic engine covers from the crate motor, that’ll do just fine.
There a lots of practical design issues with this new Honda truck.
Bed volume is important, probably more important than bed area. That bed seems very shallow, so you’ll get a lot less bulk mulch into that bed every spring versus some of the competition, which are all much deeper.
It still has a piece of bodywork growing into the headlamps... the trucks would look so much cleaner at the front end without that 3" bump into the center of the headlamps.
You like the grille surround tumor that grows into the headlights on that ‘15?
I did buy a truck in 2015, a ‘15 GMC Sierra. My only regret came a few days ago when Doug DeMuro revealed that he bought a very nice used Aston Martin for pretty much the same price.... why didn’t I think of buying a used Aston Martin three months ago instead of a truck!
Grille surround tumor growing into the head lamp. (Dear Ford, this stupid design detail is the reason I didn’t even consider an F150 in 2015... my ‘15 Sierra doesn’t have tumors for design details). Who thought this looked good? What point does it serve?
Reasons VW should buy back my wife’s 2013 Jetta TDI:
You had to go to the VW dealership to buy the car, right?
Headlight invaded by grille tumor.
This unnecessary, incoherent design element is the reason I didn’t even consider a new F150 when I bought a new truck in October. What is this little piece of plastic side grille supposed to be doing jutting into the headlamps? It is like a grille tumor growing into the headlight.
Why do I have $100k+ invested in my engine dyno cell, and most wankers with a chassis dyno just drop it the middle of their shop floor and stick a big fan in front of the car and aim the car’s ass at an open garage door.
Yah, I don’t think so. Amazon.com is a garbage shopping platform. The search and filters are nearly useless, unless you have specific product data that brings you directly to the product page (or you already landed on that page from a Google search).
I love my ‘13 Jetta TDI... 46-47mpg on my daily commute. What doesn’t make sense about that? Is there a 4cyl gas sedan out there that gets the same fuel economy as my TDI with the same driving dynamics and performance? Yah, didn’t think there was.
Everyone is so hung up on the advertised mileage, it doesn’t matter. In fact, all of the window stickers I’ve read say “estimated” with regard to the advertised mileage, and that the owner/users own mileage may or may not meet the advertised mileage.
1st fix resulted in my city mpg dropping dramatically, about 20% from before. But my hwy mpg only took about a 5% hit. Still was a loss all around :(
Not a single squared up line on the rest of the car, but these guys thought a nice squared up lower air grille was the way to go. Awesome sense of aesthetics! Love that they used some chrome mesh for the square grille, it was probably a left over from the Unique Whips bankruptcy auction a few years ago. Now if they…
Mesh velocity stack covers... proving that these guys are idiots.
How much do you get paid for these two minute toilet musings? Thank god this was not another “I took something I own to CarMax” stories.
I don’t care, either.
