Wheelspins are a dime a dozen in the game, your residence money is MUCH better spent on the house that allows you to fast travel to any road. After spending 200+ hours in the last game, being able to fast travel directly to event locations is one of the more useful and time saving things you can buy.

Nah, Microsoft makes most of their money from selling games, not storage. These are priced around the norm for similarly performing drives of the same caliber. Someone will eventually make an adapter. 

A quick look on Amazon has 2TB PCIe 4.0 sticks at around $350. Presumably this is more comparable to Samsung than a cheaper brand and theirs has a MSRP of $429.99 though it sells for less. So pricing seems to fit the market with a bit of markup but the downside of this is that places like Amazon tend to push prices…
