@KamWrex: Building a wall sounds good, but I need a door if possible to close the area. Just to keep the cats out, like a light weight sliding door. If that's too elaborate I'd change my mind -but I don't know how hard or expensive it would be.

Anyone have tips for flying 2 absolutely insane cats across country? They are afraid of everything, and freak out if you touch. I'm not sure if you are supposed to take them out of their carrier to walk through the metal detectors, but that seems impossible with these cats.
