God, I know. Jackson will do expectably great, but I wanted to see Del Toro do it more than anything.

Beat me to it.

Seriously? There have been fireworks going off for the past 45 nights, every night, sometimes starting at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. To all of my Mexican neighbors, fireworks are for celebrating every day of summer.

For science, for art, for the hell of it. Great photographs either way.

Holy shit, that is the worst audio editing I have ever heard.

Holy shit, American Gods has the potential to be amazing. I would love to work on it. I will definitely be following this closely. Semi-related: what the fuck is up with that new Tom Hanks movie? It looks like the sort of movie he would do in the 80s. Sterile, mildly amusing, safe. He's always seemed like a pretty

You and me both. I already started pricing the resale value of my monitor.

Yeah, same here. I'd love to replace my 24" monitor with this and have some 3D editing capability which would pay for itself, with the 3D gaming/splitscreen as my personal icing on the cake.

I was thinking this too. It is hard to claim that this is happening independently of a centralized facilitator when negative reinforcement is expected.

If you follow the link through, io9 ended the article with the exact same joke (sans Monaghan reference).

No ring for the king. Question: does this kill the narrative for next season, or fuel the fire? To me, I think that the Heat's disappointing finish will burn everyone out. Lebron will still act like an entitled cocksucker, and Cleveland & many others will still hate him, but I don't see the Heat-as-villains storyline

Quick question, is there some limitation in using both the Kinect and a controller? I just can't imagine anyone getting over the movement limitation without a joystick, but the hacks have proven that the Kinect is capable of some awesome shit. I hope that the Wii U doesn't fall into the same trap the Kinect did

I'm assuming "Cliffy" doesn't live in LA. I never carried cash until I moved here.

I liked it because it gave you the opportunity use different strategies beyond "shoot for a while, hide for a while". If you were fully stocked, you could charge in and shoot 'em up, or if you were low in supplies, you could sneak around and pick people off, use obstacles and cover. I felt it gave me more variation

So, even though I'm fucking thrilled for this, is anyone else concerned with the seemingly regenerating health? Say it ain't so...

Either Lebron or James? Which one was decimating the Bulls in the 4th quarter and which one seemed to be thinking about cricket against the Mavs?

And you wouldn't have to look at bluish skeletons the entire game!

Hmm, now I just need to get an editing gig that requires a 3D rig and I can charge this as a business expense. And subsequently use it 99% of the time for gaming.

My thoughts exactly. There were a bunch of PS3 games that I was going to get, but once you start talking about Super Smash...

I'm pretty sure Levine talked in an interview about how a picture from the Depression of some kids standing next to a dead horse really resonated with him. It was used as a main influence on the mood.
