I farm Stone Chunks from the blue-eyed wolves in the Upper Cathedral. With a good fire/beast weapon you can kill them in one or two hits.

Aye. I think this was the only Disgaea title where I HATED most of the English voice work. It was such a disappointment considering how great D4’s casting and delivery was. (Valzy’s still my fave. Troy Baker and Matthew Mercer FTW.)

The main plot was fairly compelling, and it felt like the stakes were actually high compared to most of the older titles. (And um, try to use the Japanese voice option if you can. Some of the english VAs are terribad.)

...It does have that, but it’s near-impossible to finish it without giving in to the F2P component of the game. Halfway through the campaign the enemies had too many OP variants. Even the rubbing wasn’t a strong-enough motivation at that point... O_______o

So true. I remember playing L4D2 simply because 4 v 4 was fun and chaotic. Then suddenly, almost all games I find are achievement grinding maps. Nobody plays for the fun of it anymore.

Yeah. It’s all so muted for most of the game, but when it ramped up, it really hit you. It was like living in a silent film.

The ones in Dissidia move a bit more like they did in Advent Children, including the timing + visual effects of the attacks themselves.

His moves in Smash are actually more on-point with his original moveset than what he has in Dissidia.

I agree. It would’ve been nice if there’s more specifics in terms of genre and what merits they’ll be judging the games on.

In my head I just think of this as the sequel to Crisis Core. Mechanically it’s got enough similarities that it doesn’t feel that foreign to me for an FFVII game.

That’s true. At least with the PvZ or PvT matches the Disruptors weren’t the only one strat that I saw them use. Archons, Stalker/Adept harrass, Zealot rush, Dark Templar backdoor, etc.

I gotta say though, The PvP match-ups are both tense and painful at the same time because of the Disruptor being such a key unit. At worst, it’s like watching two people run back and forth trying to throw water balloons at each other.
