Pointing out when the president says an obvious lie is exactly the job of a journalist. What the fuck is wrong with you?

Journalists are SUPPOSED to have an adversarial relationship with the government. It’s literally why you dummies have a fucking first amendment. You want stenographers? Hire fucking stenographers.

Anyone has the right to debate the president. That is whole point of the Declaration of Independence. Yes, I know that isn’t a law, but it’s a principle that is echoed in the Constitution and especially the Bill of Rights.

Yeah that is what annoyed the hell out of me. There’s plenty of charming actors out there and they went with that spud

Wahlberg seems to actually be getting worse as an actor the older he gets which is really strange. He was meh to Ok when he started, now hes phoning it in, he’s awful.

And even if Mark could act, FUCK MARK WAHLBERG

The problem is, if I understand it, that when people are sitting on their asses they’re watching Netflix or Hulu or Amazon Prime.  Quibi was supposed to be for, like, 10 minutes riding the bus or whatever.

Daily reminder, if you're registered to vote, and can in person hit up an early voting site if available. The more in person votes the faster we end this nightmare.

Unfortunately everyone I know is about to turn our backs to the Avengers. We used to be huge fans. My children have already started burning their movie’s. Such a sad day to hear avengers say this. My teen’s took this really hard. Figured they were smarter than this

Also, Ghosts sounds like the killer track that Gaslight Anthem so badly wanted to make.  Bruce is like, “oh, is this what you were trying to do?”

The interesting part of Dexter was not that there is a serial killer who only kills other serial killers. It’s that Miami is so thoroughly infested with serial killers that such a thing is even possible.

While I mostly agree with you, I think back to experiences like watching Avengers Endgame in theaters and I have to say that theaters have a place in our society. They’re not important for most movies but some movies really bring the community together and you want to be with strangers while watching. I dunno. I hope

That won’t happen. Those theaters disappeared because they couldn’t afford to pay what the studios demanded. The only thing that will happen is those same studios buy up the theaters for themselves, and only show their own films at their private theaters. Which is exactly how things were before the Paramount Decrees.

Maybe for you but some of us like the experience that a theater can offer that my house can't. At least not for the same price

But do we really want that? Weren’t there a lot of issues the last time the companies that made the films also became the sole group distributing them? Won't that just open the floodgates to charge whatever they want for the latest films because you have a single way of viewing them?

It is not, in fact, “pessimism” to want an understanding of how the political process works in this regard. You’re fine.

I’m genuinely asking. Because I feel hopeless, not pessimistic. Despair, not cynicism. Don’t you fucking blame me or anybody else who has been pissed off of years. What a shitty assumption and blame-shifting.

Not all scary movies are Halloween movies, nor are all Halloween movies scary movies. You can’t just populate your Halloween movie itinerary entirely with Friday the 13ths, you gotta sprinkle in a Hocus Pocus or a It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Good Halloween movies aren’t necessarily scary, but they are

I for one do not welcome our vengeful cetatean overlords.

“Hang in there, buddy!”
