I think the idea might be to keep psycho fans from potentially harassing them before they ever even get a chance to be seen in the roles. That's why I might hold off anyway, can't really think of any better ones. 

Oh relax. If you read any interviews with JC or listen to his movie commentary, you’ll see he’s always like this. He loves ribbing and messing with his collaborators (his exchanges with Peter Jason are gold) and is an overall pretty humble guy who a kind of no bullshit attitude in interviews.
