Unclear on re-releases, the Insom leak wasn’t that specific, but NEW games are 100% off the table for any platform other than Playstaion (and maybe PC, given Sony’s recent warming up of the platform) by any dev other than Insomniac.

X-Men characters can still show up in other exclusive or multiplatform titles, like an

This does 2 things...
1. Makes me even more impatient to wait for the season to finish so I can binge it all in one go, and, more importantly...
2. Pisses me off that Marvel agreed to a contract that disallows anyone but Insomniac/Sony from making X-Men games until 2035. So, a studio like Tribute (for example) can’t

Monkey Shines, The Crazies, and Season of the Witch are the only Romero films I’ve only ever seen once and I enjoyed them all, but it’s probably about time for a rewatch of each.

They are and they’re not.

The Tom Holland Spidey flicks are produced by Kevin Feige/Marvel Studios, almost exclusively. Amy Pascal is credited on them, but that’s primarily because Sony has some weird production deal with Pascal Pictures.

The Spider-Verse movies are produced by Lord Miller Productions, with Lord &

Any time I see one of those monkey toys, this is the first thing that comes to mind thanks to seeing the VHS cover literally every weekend for a decade+ when renting stuff as a kid (shoutout JJ’s Video). 1988's Monkey Shines! It’s not one of Romero’s best, but it’s a solid flick.

Yes, but also she’s not a good enough actress to even need the last half of that as a qualifier.

Perhaps it’s just my absolute adoration for Godzilla as a character and it being one of my favorite Kaiju films ever, but I think that’s a pretty big misread of what King of the Monsters is doing.

All I’m hoping for is something better than the last one, a movie that didn’t know its own tone and jarringly flopped between “serious” drama from the Kong parts and basically a saturday morning cartoon for the Godzilla parts, which ultimately made none of it work.

Maybe at this point they should just make Kong movies

Why are all rich old white men such pieces of shit?

Oh, right...because being a piece of shit is a prerequisite to becoming a rich old white man.

I desperately want Goddard to finally get his crack at a Marvel thing, but it looks like Lin is the frontrunner. I can’t say that’s exciting to me, but as long as Lin is bringing more of the Star Trek Beyond energy and way, way less of the Fast/Furious energy, I could see it working.

That’s what everyone says, and it’s not that I don’t believe anyone, more that I just don’t care enough to ever circle back to it.

I watched 8 seasons of Arrow, 6 seasons of The Flash, 5 seasons of Supergirl, 7 seasons of Legends of Tomorrow, 2 seasons of Black Lightning, and a season of Batwoman, and countless others..

Episode 7 - Inheritance”, exactly where I bailed as well.

That was, without question, one of the single worst hours of television I have ever seen in my 43 years, and I almost exclusive watch genre tv. It joins Agents of SHIELD as the only other show I’ve ever completely written off before the first season was over.

Kwan is the reason I quit the first season, so knowing that they kept her and killed ______ (thanks for that, btw) I will happily skip season two.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m not personally against it, but I can totally see how/why a studio would be...largely because they’re stupid (that goes double for Zaslav), and think audiences are too.

I’m willing to bet Gunn will push to go with the classic Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans lineup, with maybe some minor influence from the current (and great, btw) Tom Taylor run...and I’m hoping they take some influence from Young Justice, but that’s probably just wishful thinking. I doubt we’ll see anything pulled from

I’ll say it, it’s basically perfect.

Literally the only thing I can even count as a knock against it is the theatrical ending, which is still great and I completely understand why WB had it changed, it’s just not the ending it should have had...but they made it work.

Considering The Brave and The Bold’s Robin is Damian, who will likely be around 12 or 13, I’m assuming the DCEU’s Bruce is going to be in his mid-late 30's or early 40's. And since it’s Damian, that would insinuate that Dick, Babs, Jason, and Tim are already around.

Also, FWIW, Gunn has inferred that he’s just going to

You mean to tell me a movie made by one of the best filmmakers working today, one with a near perfect track record, is incredible? I am well and truly flabbergasted.

Yeah, that’s the thing, they’re not religious nutjobs...they’re just terrible people who know their base are, so they lean into it. It’s all panderous horseshit virtue signaling.
