Just because Galactus shows up doesn’t mean he’s going to be THE villain of the picture. If they establish him early, they can tease out future appearances, like they did with Thanos.

Because despite being interested, SEGA hasn’t agreed to any offers, that’s the key difference. They said no.
Dumdum tried to get Twitter via a hostile takeover, which they blocked him from doing, so he just offered to straight up buy them out. He made a formal offer, they agreed to the buyout, it got all the approvals…
For now...just wait until their “Super Game” drops and doesn’t sell a copy to literally everyone in the world like they seem to think. SEGA also seems to be massively in denial that if it weren’t for Yakuza and Persona blowing the fuck up in recent years, they’d be dead in the water.
And no more “but, he’s autistic” excuses, either.
I do not give a shit. Being Autistic is not an excuse for being a hateful piece of shit.
Never read The Authority, but...uh...yep, that is absolutely an Image/Wildstorm character if I have ever seen one.
Again, I’m not saying Deadline is lying in the story, I’m saying they’re just reporting what they were told...and as we all should know by now, what the press reports and the reality of something are often two very, very different things...and until Marvel confirms one way or the other, it could either.
I believe Deadline was told that Wonder Man resumes shooting after Thanksgiving, which is all that the story says about it.
I also believe that Marvel Studios is in a bit of a state of disarray at the moment, and plans both can and do change.
I adore Pedro as an actor and he genuinely seems like very cool person, but I do not see him as Reed, like...at all.
Here’s the thing about Reed Richards...he’s a prick. I don’t know what they’re doing with the film, maybe they’re going more Golen Age FF vibes, but for the past 40 years in comics Reed has been a cold,…
But they also complain when something is more or less standalone and doesn’t directly connect to the larger over-arching narrative....they’re damned if they don/damned if they don’t....and by all accounts virtually no one is watching the D+ shows anyway.
Honestly, I don’t know what the play is anymore. Infinity War/Endg…
He also said the industry overpaid the WGA to get back to work...showing us all exactly what we already knew, that he is a massive, massive, monumentally massive cunt and the single worst Hollywood CEO in the past like 3-4 decades that isn’t also a convicted rapist.
I saw the story, I’ll believe it when I see it...and fwiw, this whole “Marvel Spotlight” thing just seems like a way for them pre-announce to the audience “It’s ok to skip one this because we will never revisit this character”.
The crazy thing is that their rights package has something like 900 characters...and these are the projects they put into production.
It’s fucking baffling how a studio could have the rights to a character like Spider-Man 2099, who exists entirely outside of the any current continuity or canon, and instead they make…
Wonder Man is almost certainly dead:
Because the people making the Spider-Verse films actually understand the characters and the universe, know what the fuck they’re doing, and actually give a shit. And also because people like longtime Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal have publicly said that since those films are animated, she doesn’t care, and leaves…
The Multiverse, kinda DC’s whole thing in the comics (which makes it even funnier/sadder that Marvel beat them to the punch in the movies)...and also basically no one saw The Flash anyway, so they could bring her back without ever mentioning it and no one would care.
I saw the announcement earlier and was intrigued but didn’t see who the creative team was and, goddamn, Weisman and Ramos is a dream team. I cannot wait to read this fuckin book.
This is the last fucking time I buy an NRS game at launch, if at all. I get it, making games is stupid expensive (some might say far more expensive than it should be), and I have zero issue paying for actual playable content...these are not content, these are glorified goddamn cutscenes and the fact that they’re…
Boy, you sure seem like a real cool, well adjusted, and not at all angry person.
You’re the one comparing two, by all accounts, genuinely lovely people to racists, bigots, and actual nazis...but, sure, I’m the asshole...
This might actually be the single most insane comment I have ever seen. If you genuinely think both Patton and Kumail, two of the best working comedians/writers/actors of the past 20+ years, are the “least funny people on the fucking planet” I am loathe to ask who you do think is funny...
