I’m genuinely at a loss as to how this is supposed to be anything but great news.

I don’t know about y’all, but the last thing I want is to spend the next decade doing the completely unnecessary slow-burn worldbuilding thing. Audiences aren’t (quite) as stupid as studios tend to assume, you don’t need to waste precious

That’s ultimately up to the audience, but barring WB completely burning down (a very real possibility as long as Zaslav is running the place), yeah...making DC a viable competitor to Marvel is the entire reason they’re putting the current DCEU out of its misery and why they put Gunn in charge of everything.

I can all but guarantee there will be at least hints toward the Reach in there, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they tease them big time for a potential sequel.

Gunn runs the whole studio, so if they ever make a JLI movie, he kinda has to be involved.

Also, don’t hold your breath, they’ve got a LOT of projects (both announced and unannounced) in the works. I suspect it’s going to be a LONG time before we see the name Justice League on anything.

One of my best friends growing up (and not romantic in any way, that’s important) met and eventually married a guy in college who did not allow her to speak to or hang out with any other guys, and only let her see her girlfriends when he was around. I ran into them about a decade ago, it my first time ever meeting

We had full 2 year gap in theatrical releases between Spider-Man Far From Home and Black Widow, and an 18 month gap where there was nothing released theatrically or on streaming between Far From Home and Wandavision.

The real problem is that the train is out of the station and it can’t stop moving now...even with the

Fans generally liked her as the character, but the movies not so much.

I’m assuming they are seeing a sizable drop in viewership, not because Cavill left (he hasn’t yet, this is his final season), but because most viewers know this is his final season and don’t feel the urge to continue watching a show they know they aren’t going to stick around for.

Regardless, this whole thing is super w

There are people in this country, several states and thousands of miles away, that are going to take vacation and load up their families to visit...a gas station.

I just want everyone to think about that.

But Indiana Jones is way too popular of a brand to let it just end, right?

The “double the budget” adage people throw around is a bit of a misnomer, as the margin to profit can vary wildly from project to project. That $170m production budget doesn’t include the deluge of marketing and merchandising. It probably turned a profit, eventually, but Legacy lost Disney money in its theatrical run.

I’ve only seen the original Tron maybe twice, ever, and had zero expectations going into Legacy...and it’s barely even a movie. At best it’s an empty nostalgia play to something that wasn’t particularly great to begin with, at worst it’s a glorified feature-length video for Daft Punk’s exquisite soundtrack.

As an AMD user who has and will never buy an Nvidia gpu, FSR sucks compared to DLSS. Even FSR 2.2, the newest version, pales in comparison to older version of DLSS.

Also, fwiw, PC gamers are generally into PC gaming (at least in part) because they like the customizability, they like being able to tinker and play with

Pirating is a moral imperative.

Unlike most subscription services, including Xbox Game Pass, which usually take an all-you-can-consume approach from a curated list of titles, the $8/month or $60/year (there also appears to be a limited time discount of $1 for the first month for everyone subscribing before July 31) Meta Quest+ service only provides

TSS had the unfortunate luck of being one of the first big movies released “post-covid”...when rational people were still not willing to risk their health to go to the movies, and it released on HBO day-and-date, which effectively killed whatever potential it had at the box office.

No one cares...and that’s not me being flippant.

It’s important to remember that the vast majority of people are not chronically online, do not follow movie or celebrity news, and have no idea Miller has done anything (the vast majority of people don’t even know who Miller is).

Ezra’s behavior has little, if anything,

To be fair, Jim Ryan has proven multiple times over that he is a fucking moron.

While Edge of Tomorrowwhich is nearly a decade old at this point, but is somehow just as fresh and entertaining as it was in 2014...

I thought the design of Kabal was decent enough, but he’s little more than a glorified extra, and while I get what they were going for with Kano (and thought Josh Lawson did an admirable job, given the terrible material he had to work with), the character in the movie is less Kano and more evil Johnny Cage.
