Give it a few days, there will be plenty of fan made nfc card available on ebay/amazon/etsy/etc., for dirt cheap. Or, like the OP said, just a cheap NFC writer and a bunch of blank tags off amazon, the nfc files are stupid easy to find.

Nintendo fans are a different breed...

I’m going to check out Forza and I’ll definitely be playing Halo when it drops but, looking at lineup for the rest of the year, there’s nothing really that I have to play before February. Good thing I’ve still got so much in my backlog to keep me busy!

I would argue that very, very few people play Destiny because they like the loot or the power grind or even really the activities themselves. The actual systems that compromise the Destiny experience are massively hit or miss. Folks largely play Destiny because, of all the loot-shooters and even most dedicated FPS’,

If you’re a Marvel fan it’s absolutely worth it for the campaigns. Play through those, entirely ignore the endgame, and you’ll have a great time.

So, I just finished it yesterday, and I absolutely adored the living shit out of it.

It’s my game of the year, full stop. Wonderfully written and acted across the board (though I do have a few very minor quibbles about the line reads in a handful of situations), the motions/facial capture is some of the best I’ve ever

Actual Witchcraft, or she sold her soul to the devil at the cosplay crossroads. Either is acceptable and encouraged.

N64 has been emulated at full-speed since 1999. Nintendo has had 22 years to build half-decent emulators, if even for internal use, and they haven’t bothered...I don’t know why they’d start now.

Have there been any other fan-games based on Sony properties that were shut down? I can think of plenty of Nintendo ones, but I can’t think of a single instance of a Sony one.

Fair enough, “fed up” may not be the right term. Anecdotally, though, it does seem like the ol’ “Nintendo gets a pass” thing possibly isn’t quite as true as it has been in the past. That’s just based on what I’ve seen, but I am someone who reads/watches a ton of media coverage.

STORY TIME!

My license expired in 2009, and I haven’t had a car since 2008. I don’t gamble or drink, so I haven’t had any pressing reasons to get it renewed, until recently.

Back in late March I had some family stuff come up that I was told would require me to have a valid ID, so I took an Uber to the DPS to get the

That’s the thing, they don’t need to release a Switch Pro, people complain like it’s a big deal but very, very, very few actually care about 4K or the lack of relative power. BOTW2 will push current Switch sales well into PS2 territory all on its own, hardware be damned.

I don’t know that there’s a better example of “Beloved, genre-defining classic that absolutely does not hold up” than Goldeneye.

I’m sure that’s part of it. This is Nintendo, after all, a company that loves to repackage the same things over and over again for full-retail. Their line of thinking always seems to be “We may not get many people to bite, but those who do are damn sure going to pay for the privilege”.

All of that is also true, and yet another example as to why Nintendo doesn’t care.

That said, I do think we’re finally starting to see people wise up to N’s bs. The Switch is the first Nintendo system I’ve owned since the Gamecube (not counting the 2DS, which I own exactly 3 games for and bought exclusively for Samus

It doesn’t matter, Gamers™ tend to complain endlessly but almost always give Nintendo a pass. They can downvote a youtube video all they like, but all Nintendo cares about is how many people bought it, a number which I can guarantee is high enough for Nintendo to keep on Nintendo’n.

They got everyone for a year,

That’s kinda what I was thinking, too. Something that’s a cross between the smaller, for stealth focused interiors of Arkham Asylum, and the city traversal and all out combat of Arkham City.

Honestly, they could essentially just make an Arkham game with a Daredevil skin and I’d be 100% happy with it. Not only would I

Lotta people been sleeping on Skul because it was only on PC in early access for the past year-ish, but now that’s it’s on everything y’all got no excuses. It’s a wonderful little game with a ton of charm and personality that plays absolutely phenomenally.

The balance still needs a little bit of work, as some bosses

Sometimes Nintendo’s gross overreach fucks over legitimate fan works that keep series’ they have long abandoned/ignored in the public conscience, and sometimes it’s aimed squarely at the kind of stupid garbage it should be aimed at.

There’s a rumor going around from a leak a while back stating it’s a Daredevil game. That same leak also revealed Insomniac’s Wolverine game well before it was announced, though we didn’t know it was Insomniac at the time. So, there’s a tiny shred of validity.

That said, that leak also had some details about the
