She is a treasure and there are no horny jail bars strong enough to hold Nakamura.

Hey, over here...yeah, in the back. Like, waaaaaaaaay in the back. Right here, I’m in for Days Gone. Don’t laugh, that’s rude. I never checked it out on PS4, but I heard all the podcasts and read all the reviews. I’m expecting a solid 6/10 that I can dump 20-30 hours into without having to really bother paying

As a platform, Youtube gets hundreds of billions of views a day. IGN gets a fraction of a fraction of that. I all but guarantee IGN is worse if you averaged it out.

The IGN comments sections have been the bottom of the barrel, worst of the worst for maybe a decade now, and the mods (if indeed there are any) don’t seem to care in the least. It’s one of the big reasons I stopped even going to the site at all.

You shut your mouth or I will shut it for you, digitally! I will NOT hear a cross word about Hackers and you you better WATCH IT, buster...

Isn’t the issue there that she owns the IP, so no one can do anything with any of it without her profiting?

Resident Evil, on the whole, is just in a really weird place right now.

I absolutely love RE8 but, just like RE7, it’s essentially a “greatest hits” of the franchise. The whole opening section (past the prologue) in the village is just straight up RE4. Lady D’s castle is RE2 again (much like the whole opening section

It is funny, but it’s also something that Capcom needs to start accounting and designing environments for if they’re going to keep doing these Mr. X/Nemesis style persistent threats, because they can all be broken by the same trivial environmental props and save rooms.

How fucking cool would it have been to assume

I didn’t even realize there was another path there, so those would definitely be the ones I missed, too. I just opened up Moreau’s section in my second playthrough, so I’ll make sure and grab those. Thanks!

Fair enough! I’m not knocking anyone else’s opinion of it, just saying it played like gangbusters for me. I can’t think of another time anything in a Resident Evil surprised me in the way that whole section did, and I just absolutely loved it. Weirdly enough, I didn’t even notice that you could hide in the lockers

I can’t remember, unfortunately. I know I got the first three fish (the first three animals you come across in the game at all), and I know I got the ones in the little alcove where the rare fish spawns in the late game. I do distinctly remember thinking that it was weird there weren’t any fish in Moreau’s section, so

1000000000000000000000000% this.

Having played every RE since the original, the vast majority of them multiple times and across multiple platforms, and being utterly obsessed with the series for many, many years (I’ve played Survivor and Dead Aim easily a dozen times each, for Christ sake) I feel I’m qualified to say

Much appreciated, it’s starting to get better, but this weekend suuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

Perhaps that’s the spot I missed, not sure, but I’ll keep a look out.

I somehow scratched my cornea Thursday afternoon and ended up in the ER Friday morning. So I’ve got a patch on one eye, and I wear glasses, so seeing hasn’t exactly been my strongest suit the past few days.

See, I got the meat in the Mill, but still ended up short on fish...not sure how, I was ridiculously anal about finding as much stuff as possible. I’m replaying it now for challenges, so I’m keeping an eye out.

Also also, animals aren’t random spawns and you can’t farm them, there are exactly enough animals in the whole game to make every recipe. Also also also, you can bank ingredients with the duke to make the different meals. So, say you have all the fish you need for X meal, but are missing the meat, you can preemptively

I did read it, and it’s still a dumb statement that misses the point completely. The various ways Ethan gets should-be-fatally wounded is, very obviously, a running gag. The player knows any one of the various injuries’ he sustains throughout the two games would be deadly, it’s not meant to be grotesque, it’s meant to

This is the dumbest statement I’ve seen in a while, congrats!

It’s a full-on bit now, I’m convinced. When he reattaches it after the whole goddamn thing getting slices off, not only does his hand reattach perfectly, but his sleeves repair themselves, too. It’s too stupid to not be intentional.

Gearbox co-developed The Pre-Sequel, but 2K Australia was largely responsible for it. 2K Australia also wrote most of it in-house, though Anthony Burch and some other GBX writers did contribute to it.

Mostly, though, the vast majority of people responsible for writing Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and The Pre-Sequel
