LOVE the character of Heather Davis: no cliches, no patronizing. Vella really brought an intriguing dimensionality, right from the beginning.

Even fashion influencers need to read the “small print” on whatever contract they’re signing.

Detox tea? A mess of raw kale? Protein smoothies? A lot of coffee? Vyvance? Grape Nuts? A lot of dried apricots? Too many cherries? Diet Coke and a single American Spirit yellow?

REALLY looking forward to The Favourite. I put off seeing The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) for ages, but when I finally rented it I found it to be one of the most chilling horror films I’ve ever encountered.

Also, I think, a solid reason to trust her judgement on SATC 3, as tangential as that is.

Cheaper is always good!

WOW. Just listened to Kim’s BBC podcast on insomnia in its entirety. What a profound examination of singlehood, aging, of the shadow issues relevant to the achievement-oriented personality. I loved some of the prescriptions she and “Dr. Bear” float to listeners: Do more things “for the heck of it.” Let others take

Thank you! I’m a big podcast fan – especially in that I am released from staring at a screen. Don’t know if you’d be interested in James Andrew Miller’s ORIGINS series on SATC, but I’ve been enjoying the set immensely.

If you could post the links to some of the programs you mention I’d be SO grateful... I love me some Kim!

Sexual people are always punished. Even, apparently, on SATC.

LOL!

Exactly. Seems like little more than self-aggrandizement and self-destructiveness masquerading as “religious fervor.”

We’re too often looking for liabilities instead of looking at our opportunities.

I can relate, I guess. I’m thrown into a depression every time I see a photo of myself, regardless of how I’m dressed or styled.

You have nothing to be ashamed of... but I think I do. Since watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix, I’ve become obsessed with Ross Lynch (who plays Sabrina’s boyfriend Harvey) and his band R5:

Recalling the scene you mention, I blanched.

I agree. I suspect some of the pathogen concern-trolling is just a dilute form of religious conversion fervor.
