The mass murder/gun shooting rate in the US has become boggling. If there is a new civil war, I predict it will take a new form, emerging between violent, mentally-deranged, homegrown terrorists with guns and the general, peace-loving populace – putting the ‘insanity of war’ on full display.

Yes, I agree: the theme is swanky horror, giallo. Dakota’s garment looks visceral; she appears to be dripping in glittering crimson entrails. The dress delivers the fatal shock of a gazelle that’s been mauled by a lion yet has managed, somehow, to get up and walk away.

The trailer is so swank, perverse and lopsided I’m squirming to see it. But I’m not so sure about that running length either.
