The game certainly has a lot of potential to be great, as much as it has to be a bug ridden mess. Here's hoping for the former.

Looks fun. This might be the first ever DLC expansion I will buy.
While I certainly don't like to see realistic violence on videogames (GTA), I also don't like cartoony characters like Wario, Kirby, or Fox McCloud.
LOL. Only in Texas.
@zgreenwell: Not really. Growth is an exponential curve. If nothing else, it means that the sales of X360 haven't slowed down but continued to add up at the same pace as last year.
This year I got:
My gaming resolution this year is to kill off most of my last gen backlog (PS2) and withhold new purchases until I manage the above. FYI, my current backlog is 58 games, 27 of which are on PS2 alone :(.
Not too bad of a VC update, but I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of a certain title that starts with Castle and ends with Curse.
Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't a 100% growth mean flat sales (or same sales as previous year)? Growth by default is a ratio, not a number.
Looking good so far. These titles have the potential to be good to great games on their respective platforms so here's hoping for the later.
Ebay will stock them indefinitely however ;).
@fadecy - I won PixelJunkEden because of Kotaku: When Capcom tried new games (Okami comes to mind) they bombed. And when they do the same ol' they succeed (Megaman 9 - a NES game in 2008!!!). So, just because the market is too dumb to sort the gems from the generic, it doesn't mean that Capcom or other japanese…
Not trying to come out as a Sony fanboy (although I am, thanks to the almighty PS2 :p), but if you see that worldwide PS3 numbers aren't as far from X360 numbers as they seem, considering being $200+ more expensive, I think PS3 is doing alright for what it is. Of course the same can be said for X360 being where it is,…
All I need this year is a trailer to knock my socks off. I can wait for Holiday 2010 for it to release. I also expect the game to look better than anything else released on Wii before it (not necessarily realistic looking graphics).
Pretty nice article (on Gamasutra). Made me appreciate the game even more. Good job Insomniac and here's to many more successes on PS3 or elsewhere.
While I think that VGAs are needed in the industry, I certainly didn't like Spike VGAs show. It seemed like it was targeted to immature young males like they WERE the videogame market. I saw not a single Japanese game (except MGS4), or barely a Wii or DS game mentioned. Given that the Wii and DS are the "mainstream"…
Resident Evil 5 and Madworld are the only games I'm interested from that list. I still need to pick up Mirror's Edge, Gears of War 2, Tales of Vesperia, and Call of Duty 4...
From what I've seen so far my sentiments echo those of AJ. Maybe Mikami was right when he said he won't like what RE5 will have to offer. I say well Mikami, prove Capcom wrong by heading a RE sequel or making a completely new RE clone similar to what Bayonetta is to Devil May Cry.
It's kinda "meh". Nothing on it screams either Resident Evil or Horror to me. More like your generic 2P shooter. It could have been much worse though.
All I can say is that Tiesto is waaaaaaay too overrated, but it's still a better DJ than most U.S. based ones. Let's get over this quickly: US will never ever catch to Europe for techno/dance music. The end.
