Midway needs some Wii Party games, Bratz DS, and release some smaller/cheaper games on XBL/PSN instead. I disagree that MK is done in 3D, but I do agree is done as a 3D fighter. A new Shaolin Monks follow up would be most awesome.

Well isn't that Bethesda's and not ESRB's right to ask for putting or pulling any trailers on certain websites? I am confused. GameTrailer replies though are some of the most immature things I've ever seen. What are they, like 10 years old? Show some dignity and professionalism dammit.
I usually buy more games that I can play, meaning, I buy the games I really want right away, especially if there are preorder bonuses. Otherwise, I wait them out until they drop enough in price to justify their purchase. But I mostly buy them new or sometimes, if it's a really old game, in a "like new" condition. I…
Honestly, user levels that tribute to other games were what sold me LBP. Good thing it's still shrink wrapped since it's heading back to the retailer where it came from. If enough people do this, it will teach Sony a thing or two how to handle LBP. First that stupid song bubble and now this.
Mirror's Edge is the highlight of the week for me. Will wait for reviews and head-to-heads between X360 and PS3 versions first though.
I think a lot of people are forgetting that even if Wii had an HD output, games would still be in SD and that wouldn't change anything. You need a lot of memory and a much faster processor to handle HD textures and larger assets in general for HD display. Come next generation (2011+) I am sure whatever console follows…
The game surely did well, but I think it deserved double that number. Especially when compared with other pathetic Wii titles that sell 2-3 times more (not mentioning names here but you know what they are).
This is definitely a must-buy for me. Whether that will be now at $60 or later at $30-$40 is a different story. Not only is my game budget exceeded by $100 already, but my game time is locked for the next 3 years due to my 53+ games backlog.
Do we even know why this kid was dead? (hunger, cold, murder, etc.)
This is a very interesting chart. I didn't expect MS to have such a strong first party attachment rate, while I expected Nintendo to have a higher first party attachment rate then what it does. PS3 results on the other hand are disappointing any way you look at it.
@em: I would smile too if I was making millions by selling bottled air or recycled entertainment hardware and software.
That answer made me LOL. I remember I kinda liked the movie at that time (as a kid) but then again I watched the movie before knowing who "Mario Bros" were or what videogames are.
@jollygoodlad: Most likely a multiplatform release. My bet is some FIFA (EA) game was out around that time.
Funny, no gun play is EXACTLY what sells me Mirror's Edge. But this is the Gears of War creator so it all makes sense. Ironically Gears of War is not my cup of tea. To each its own I guess.
I could never get to the first Resistance since to begin with, I am not fond of FPS games, and also the controls/gameplay seemed too unforgiving. But watching IGN's Video Review and some of these screenshots definitely puts R2 on my radar. I found myself too easily confusing R2 with GoW2 due to gorgeous graphics and…
Nothanks.jpg. I don't want to see Hanna Montana's Edge or That's so Raven Space. Fifa Magic Kingdom or Madden Bratz would be hilarious though.
This sucks. Circuit City more often than not had better prices than Best Buy and a wider selection on the floor. Glad mine isn't closing. Also, to all Circuit City haters, competition is always good for you, no matter how bad a particular retailer is. You don't like Circuit City, you can go to Best Buy and force them…
I hope that the huge hardware failures with X360 teach MS a lesson when they design and build their next console. I'm not buying it until 2-3 years in its life cycle anyway though. MS can thank RRODs, hardware improvements, and price drops for that.
It's funny how Nintendo's own handheld sector sees more hardware revisions, price changes, and color bundles than the rest of the gaming industry as a whole. I wonder what Wii would cost now if it had the same performance as a GCN. I am assuming around $150 tops.
It's nice to see Fallout 3 all over the chart. Can't say the same for the Wii/DS games, but at least most of them are better than average in their respective platforms.
