I tried the demo on PSN and I liked what I played so far. I will be trying it on XBL as soon as the "gold member period" is over. I suspect X360 controls would be better than DS3 controls.

I'm buying-and-not-playing Gears of War 2, and playing-but-not-buying Resistance 2. The first one because I have a huge backlog. The second one because I couldn't get on the first one.

What baffles me is why Universal didn't make a movie from the book instead of a video game. Maybe the literature was too complicated for their apprehension, yeah, that's it. I guess press A, B, hold X then Y is easier to translate into a movie rather than detailed literature.

Actually I am sure Home Sweet Home will appeal to my wife (a non gamer) which is Nintendo's target market. Nothing wrong with that. What's wrong is that Europe gets Castlevania III and we don't. What's up with that Nintendo?

I will be removing the shrink wrap from Silent Hill: Homecoming and appropriately play it on the Halloween weekend. Fallout 3 will probably be next.

We don't need a Ratchet Jr, so left (original) Klonoa for me.

I hope Castlevania III hits US VC next Monday. Although that would be late for Halloween, my 500 Wii points have been reserved for it since I first got the Wii.

After checking PS store yesterday at 6 PM EST with no Mirror's Edge demo in sight, I wondered if I got the wrong demo release date. Guess Friday is the new Thursday for Sony.

Reggie's logic is flawless, considering their endorsement of Wii Play, Sports Party, Imagize: Babiez etc.

DVR'd. Hope I won't have to claim those 90 minutes of my life back.

@ImSoMeh: PS2 probably has a lot higher profit margins than PS3 at this point. I would even go as far as saying that PS2 selling for good profit is offsetting PS3 selling at a loss or a very low profit margin. Sony needs PS2 to sell well until PS3 tech and manufacturing becomes cheap enough to make a business decision

That Miyamoto pose is awesome. Let's hope somebody somewhere is working on an Icarus game too.

The funny thing is EA is doing this to their fans (who would post on EA forums anyway?) instead of their haters. But that's what you get by signing a contract with the devil (by buying their games).

If I were Sony I would do bundles like crazy. This way I would not "officially" drop the price and also move some more copies of deserving games like MGS4, Uncharted, LBP, R2, etc.

From what I've seen so far it will be a fight between R2 and GOW2. R2 looks awesome but also has intimidating controls. GOW2 will sell out by default though.

I think this is a good move for MS. I mean for $99 you only upgraded the HDD from Core to Pro. Now you get an extra controller as well as 3 months of Live which should be free anyway but that's a discussion for another topic.

I don't see anything wrong with early reviews, actually I need to read the review before the game comes out. The reviewer however should mention all circumstances under which the review was written. I also think that the reviews have to change accordingly with new patches that fix issues, or new issues that weren't

The movie was done before. It was called either Chuck & Larry or Blades of Steel.

One thing this game isn't lacking is style, and that shows well in the cover.

Marcus Fenix = Steven Seagal. Brain-dead, beat-em-up over-the-top violent type. Pretty flat, uninspiring, and overly shallow for a lead character personality.
