Hopefully the market will respond appropriately by not buying it, just so that Konami learns a lesson or two. What's next, Metal Gear Solid Tennis?

Personally I like the original since it's more fitting to function/role and also looks more realistic.

I share the same concern as some other commenters and I hope this doesn't mean we will have a cliffhanger ending or ridiculous plot holes. Planning for a trilogy is fine, as long as each game is self contained and doesn't need prior / future knowledge of the story bits. Business wise I am sure it makes sense.

These days I can't seem to stick with my pocket change for too long... oh well Nintendo, here's another $8.00 from me (Secret of Mana).

@Morphie: LMFAO. Somebody should nominate this for comment of the week!

I was really excited for this game but the trailer wore it out for me really quickly. Devil May Cry 4.2: A Crappier Version FTL. Ugly character design, annoying V.A., and nothing "revolutionary" to back up that infamous Kamya claim a while ago. I will wait when the game is in a more mature phase and when the trailer

I just wish somebody else made a 3D Castlevania. Could that somebody else be *gasp* Hideky Kamya ? (original DMC director)

All boxes look identical to me, are you sure is their whole lineup or is it just 200 copies of a single game?

With all the money that MS is spending up and down to rip franchises and exclusives from Sony, or steal some sales from Nintendo while losing money on hardware, I'm sure that they could afford a few servers to host some less than great XBLA games.

I will be getting Dead Space for PS3, but only because I have a $50 gift card. Given my current backlog, I could sustain from buying any new games for the next 2 years or so.

If there is a defining PSP game, for me that is LocoRoco. Loved the original and I'm sure I'll love the sequel.

This game has the potential to be great and be an example for other games to follow (Metroid in 3rd person anyone?) if executed properly. I hope they take the time and fix the game before release. I don't care if it comes out in Q1 2010, as long as when it releases the controls are perfect. Otherwise it would be not

What I find a little depressing, is PS2's solid existence in these charts, especially when it continues to sell more than the PS3. Looks like 2008 is the new 2006 for Japan.

Game looks great. If there's one thing MS is doing right, is forcing developers to at least touch up their games for HD resolutions.

I am still waiting for my copy of Silent Hill: Homecoming in the mail. Meanwhile, it will probably be some Resident Evil, Twilight Princess, and Super Mario RPG (on the Wii VC). Yes, I have a backlog that extends all the way to 2001 to clear.

It would be nice if we had some animated themes like the original default. Up to now themes largely meant wallpaper and buttons to me, but as long as they are free, I'm good with it. If they want people to pay for them, they better start making some animated backgrounds.

@ryivanV2: Agreed, but for a different reason. I like action real time combat RPGs more than turn based ones. The all-star team doesn't hurt either.

Hardware failures aside, MS has done a pretty good job this generation with the X360, especially when compared with their previous console which had an identity crisis IMO. Now, I can list a million other things they did wrong, but I want to keep this post positive.

Yes! Finally some colors and not just shades of brown. The music seemed a little bit Mirror's Edge-y but the vocalist is singing to herself instead of the audience. I hope the final music has actually middle eastern tones, this being Prince of PERSIA and all.

@mhlaxp: I can apply that same logic to theft as well. If I am stealing something from someone, the overall volume remains the same because nothing got lost. Your logic fails and you know it. Piracy = stealing, nothing more, nothing less.
