I don't know if merging is a good or a bad thing, but it sure is better than a buyout. Contrary to common belief, I think Tecmo made a wise choice not selling out to SE.

I would almost buy the game on the art style alone. Let's hope this isn't another Eternity's Child case study (great art, sucky gameplay).

One thing's for sure, that family isn't buying any X360 anytime soon. The insurance part sucks though.

Until MGS4 came out, Bioshock was the best game of this generation (for me at least). I would strongly recommend it to everyone who hasn't picked it up, even those who spoiled the story or the ending. The game was a blast to play and the environmental designs are breath taking. AAA title in all respects IMO.

They do have a point, however I wouldn't go looking for MGS4 in a arms dealer shop, or for GOW3 in a Greek museum. I think this applies to the so called "casual" games more than anything. (The term "casual" is used to excuse a poor review and a lazy development). How else can you sell to soccer moms and AARP?

@Foxstar Sixtail: Do you work for Nintendo or do you own some Nintendo stock, because even if Reggie tried, he couldn't be a bigger fanboy than you. Your post counts don't make you any more special than everybody else here.

If there's a good reason to shop at GameStop (preorder bonuses) I do it. Otherwise I use any other store that sells videogames, online and offline. If you are pissed with Gamestop practices, why do you shop there to begin with?

Megaman belonged on SSBB more than Snake did. But Kojima practically begged Nintendo to have Snake in SSBB. So, yeah. Four headed Yamauchi spirit is still pretty much alive and free roaming in Nintendo HQs.

If I bought the game for myself, I wouldn't care about the DRM. But obviously the web is full of hackers and cheap ass gamers. Spore certainly doesn't deserve this. Amazon should learn a lesson or two and not let anybody review a product if they didn't buy it at their website.

Proof that you don't need to have brains if you have dough.

@frak-frakistan: Speak for yourself. She holds no candle to Jade... What was the topic again?

So other than the paint, what else did Nintendo add to this router? I'm glad that at least they continue to be in touch with their users.

Final Fantasy MCMXVII confirmed!

I'm pretty sure I won't be able to pick this up even if it ends up being a pretty good game until after Christmas. There is a long list of games coming out around that time, Fallout 3 being the biggest, which will keep me pretty busy into the New Year, if not most of the winter. But yeah, if it turn out really well,

I am longing the days when anything that happens in Japan is no longer relevant to the rest of the world. Looking at the charts alone, you would think nobody buys game consoles anymore, unless they are sold as novelty toys (Wii).

Yeah, that's a great deal MS. You are only 3 times more expensive than what you should be, or to put it another way, offer 1/3 of the storage that a 2.5" SATA HDD offers at that price (360GB).

One thing was for sure, both VP's were "teh sucks". McCain seemed to be a little better with regards to gaming regulations, however I'd rather have regulations and a job, than no regulations and no job. Point being, there are much more important issues than gaming regulations to consider when voting.

Wait, he said 11 / 10 = 10? Thanks for teaching me new math.

That's a good step for M$, but I would care more about their super overpriced accessories price cuts than any console price cuts. Arcade shouldn't exist to begin with. How about keeping the existing prices and make the consoles reliable instead?

How many times do we have to read this on Kotaku alone? If this is the first time, than I certainly read about this a long time ago on EGM and 1up.com.
