It was celebrity Big Brother which is why it become such a huge mess.

Celebrity Big Brother. Shilpa Shetty (I may have her surname spelled wrong) is a Bollywood actress and she was the victim of some pretty horrible comments from Jade. She came out of it very well because she reacted by pretty much rising above it and not letting it get to her and not letting anyone provoke her into

Yes! What was interesting was that the bigot, Jade, was a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother and was a "celebrity" only because she had already been on Big Brother before. She spewed a bunch of venom at this lovely Indian actress who went on to win the show. Jade and two other housemates who also said racist things

That was the celebrity bb. Jade Goody and her crew were abusing Shilpa Shetty. It was a big deal, then Jade got cancer and became a heroine or something like that.

Yes, it was when an Indian actress joined the cast. One of the reality "favorites," Jade Goody, was one of the racists. I don't know the whole story, but I think she asked the actress her forgiveness later, and then later Jade Goody ended up dying of cancer at a very young age.

I completely disagree. Football around the world makes the US love of NFL look quaint.

He's bigger on the inside.

Large numbers of people like it, have fun using it has a bonding experience with friends and even people they don't know, and therefore it makes shit tons of money.

Right? Then we'd be on a slippery slope, culminating in such ridiculous, preposterous concepts as Alan Quatermain, Dr Jekkyl, Captain Nemo, and Huckleberry Finn, all teaming up for globetrotting adventures. Unheard of. Blasphemous and unheard of.

"Let thee who hath never lifted a millstone be the first to cast it"

College and high school football is often times a means of bringing a community together, especcially in more rural areas. Oftentimes these are parts of the country where there isn't a major league team nearby so the populace becomes fans of the local college team and over time the community bonds around the rituals

It's nothing like The Last Airbender, which was a fucking hateful travesty and used white characters for characters and cultures and cultural inspirations that were clearly non-white. As a huge fan of the show, I object to that comparison, because rarely does anything reach the pathetic level of drivel and awfulness

Welp, we do love our football in America. (Not everyone, obviously, but a significant portion of the population.)

This is nothing like Airbender. The Airbender movie took a cast of cartoon characters who were coded non-white and cast white actors as everyone except the villain, who was played by a brown dude.

Not really, The Last Airbender was outrage over Hollywood shifting the ethnicity of characters of color, whereas this is outrage put upon Hollywood for not shifting around the ethnicity of characters.

This will probably get lost in the gray, but you missed one very important part:

He should have called it... A Song Of Ice And Fire! *ba-dum-tish*

Central Ohio Jezebelles, who would like to join a protest against this budget with me? I just wrote a letter to Governor Kasich explaining my outrage over his actions, which clearly show that he and the other (WHITE, MALE) Republicans in Columbus will do anything they can to hurt the women of this state. This isn't

Good on Microsoft. And last time I played Halo online, apparently all the good players were gay according to other players.

OMG THE ADMITTING RIGHTS/TRANSFER AGREEMENT BIT MAKES THE PIECES OF MY HEAD EXPLODE THAT HAD ALREADY EXPLODED! First it was admitting rights, then it was admitting rights to a hospital within 30 miles, now is it admitting rights within 30 miles but sorry never mind we are a public hospital? Oh yeah... and by the way,
