I seem to remember, in the books, that Amos’s gut-check reaction to meeting this dude is to suggest killing him out-right and Holden almost lets him.

Mari Kondo has built an empire convincing people that they could be happier if they just get rid of nearly everything in their homes by emotionally recognizing the value of the item, thanking it, and letting it go on to some other life.
The EV train is chuggin along.
My guy, listen - because you’re making me sad/upset reading this. It’s not you. People...get....upset. A friend, a real one understands that we all feel emotions. Upset is temporary, right? You got upset but that didn’t mean you were writing her off. As a friend, shouldn’t she understand that? You work through issues…
is that a hatchback????
I had a lot of fun there. The cars were deceptively fast! Can’t wait to go back.
For my bachelor party we went to K1 Racing and afterwards, Dave and Busters. Then everyone who wanted to stick around went back to my place and we had a little SFV tournament. It was pretty awesome.
“A-fare-mative” - my friend and I still use that line while gaming.
The one that kills me most is from Red Alert, Einstein’s “InCREDible!”
Yes sir?
Exactly. The comment I replied to suggested that a state or municipality *could theoretically* start offering some protections to shift workers in this sort of scenario, and my point that even in that case, the protections wouldn’t extend to dancers.
my guy, this website is huge within the pokemon community, there is a 100% chance nintendo and gamefreak know about it already
Dancers have to pay house fees when they dance. So they have to pay to work everyday they work. They have to pay stage fees to dance on the stage. Then if they hit some infraction they might owe the house for that as well. On top of that they have to tip other people that work at the club like the bouncer, house mom…
She was saying that upon returning to work, the house fee could have at least been waived since the dancers were out of work for a week without compensation.
I’m so sorry you went through that. Society can really downplay the seriousness of abuse committed by women, which adds extra layers of suffering to the people they hurt. Good for you for getting yourself out of that situation and finding what sounds like a healthy, supportive relationship.
Yeah, I’m a long-term Tesla skeptic, but increasing sales while your much larger competition with better retail, marketing and sales operations than you have are all struggling is objectively impressive. I expect a lot of people to buy the dip here.
They’re just conservatives at this point. Dig through their funding and you’ll probably find a big fat check from an American evangelical group because that’s who’s funding the TERF stuff, too.
I did see your post! I actually started CrossCode after I saw it on Fahey’s list, but I appreciate your comment nonetheless.
